didierforever 7,349
He isn't actually a winger though. Being a a striker your main attribute is to score goals and that he can do. He isn't a natural at crossing and playmaking. He is equipped to take players on and bang goals in.but even that attribute is very shady in him. i mean look at what he did today. got into the box. turned the center back, but dint take the shot. i mean when sturridge played as a winger, his shooting and striker quality showed. but moses is somewhere in between. He is a good finisher but I do agree that his end product is rather shady but to compare him with Kalou as insult like most people are doing at the moment is a little overreacting. Jase 43,479
i dont think he is playing badly. he does everything perfectly until he reaches the opposition box, infact he can take a run from our box to the opposition box, dribbling past 5-6 players but when he reaches there, its as if his brain gets short circuited. he decision making in the box is probably 2nd to only gervinho that i know of (even kalou's was better). thats probably the reason for all the hatred. That! He's getting into very good positions to cause problems but his final ball/pass/delivery has been rather disappointing. Special Juan 28,141
I coach kids football and if one of my kids had been as shot shy on his left (His weaker foot) like Moses today he would be in for double sessions of training this week. It makes me cringe these days how one footed some players are, not only that but how reluctant they become to just putting their foot through it. It's nothing new and it certainly won't grow old any time soon. Kalou was fluffing clear cut chances in big moments for years. Moses has a terrible game against Southampton then muggs a few passes in todays game vs United and he is deemed the same ilk as Kalou, nonsense!!!! Stats 7,142
I think Moses saw some of the comments about this on this forum about not being able to score and then thought "fuckt it" After he got a lot of flack against Southampton he has scored 2 in 2 now. I guess the criticism got to his head. Hopefully he continues on his run The only place to be
Heisenberg 1,824
Liverpool level, not Chelsea level for sure.Sell him, bring Schurrle and KDB.
Popular Post! BlueLion. 21,491 Posted April 11, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted April 11, 2013 ^ yeah, he's clearly shit. We should sell him, he clearly isn't good enough for Chelsea.By SOME DISTANCE he was the best player on the pitch tonight, and one of the best in the first leg. Moses is a squad player. We are not Real Madrid; our squad players are not the level of Karim Benzema and Ricardo Carvalho. Our squad players have to be competent, consistent all-rounders who can play with balls into feet, or take a more physical route. Moses is a perfect squad signing and will be how Essien was to Lampard and Ballack and Makelele, to Oscar, Mata and Hazard. Great player. pHaRaOn, Rambo, Mufassir08 and 6 others

chelseathebest 150
Imo, he's not even good enough to be a squad player. But we'll see...

Stats 7,142
Imo, he's not even good enough to be a squad player. But we'll see...That is ridiculous. Please. What is your definition of a squad player? He has not set the world alight but he has done enough to prove he can add something to the team. Comments like this are so blind-sided seriously. Mufassir08 2,400
Are people seriously forgetting his performances before the AFCON?Hell i remember reading that moses is better then hazard over here and now suddenly he is the new kalou Stats, pHaRaOn and English Freak
Heisenberg 1,824
Yeah because schurrle is tearing apart the bundesliga right?Far more promising and talented than him, for sure, Moses is a no-brain player, and he proved that since we bought him, he brings nothing to the team apart some goals, does he track back to defend ? can he score decisive goals ? He is young, yes, but overall, I see Schurrle as a future star, Moses as a future Kalou.
Popular Post! Amblève. 4,995 Posted April 11, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted April 11, 2013 Jeez people, some of you do have to sort some shit out. Moses not good enough to be a squad play? Lmao. Seems like some missed a couple of games this season.Edit: It's getting better. Moses is not tracking back? Actually, he's one of the best defensive wingers in the PL right now. But whatever.
