TorontoChelsea 4,064
I remember how many people were saying Moses would be shit and nothing more than a Kalou type squad player... so wrong. He's got it everything: trickery, pace, strenght, technique and a great, great ATTITUDE. Can't wait to see him play more!I was one of the people who liked the Moses signing, but don't you think that 60 minutes over two games as a sub is a little early to be judging whether it was a good signing or not? I think it will likely be, but let's wait at least a couple of months to see. Shevchenko scored 2 goals in his first 3 games and he turned out to be one of the biggest flops ever. There just seems to be this knee-jerk pendulum that when someone looks good in a game, they are fantastic players and when they play poorly, they are worthless. Milan 17,956
Whereas Oscar, Hazard and Mata like to play it through the middle, looking for some little space and to creat a little bit of magic, Moses and Marin will provide us with width. Wing play is something we lacked yesterday and I am looking forward to have all these possibilities. Most probably against Wolves!
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Marin won't bring as much width as Moses though. He drifts inwards ocassionally. Not quite as much as Hazard and Mata though. So in terms of width:Very little width: Hazard, Oscar, MataMedium level of width: Ramires, Bertrand, Marin, SturridgeHigh level of width: Moses, Malouda (I suppose)
Las7 951
Needs to start our next game on the right wing, hopefully plays around 60-70 minutes and is replaced by Marin(if he is finally fit); depending how he does we should consider him for Arsenal - he was MOTM when Wigan beat Arsenal last year. Milan 17,956
From the games I saw him in in Germany and according to one friend of mine who loves German football, he relishes playing on the wing. Sure he drifts is to the middle but that is not his main style.

As I said I've been watching Moses for some time now I really believe that he can make it here at Chelsea. There's a reason why he has been regarded as one of England's brightest prospects a few years ago and yesterday we saw some signs of what he will do when he is given playing time. Tomo 21,751
Moses offered us more balance when he came on, he was direct something Hazard, Mata and Oscar aren't. In future i think the 3 in a 4-2-3-1 should be two of Hazard, Mata and Oscar then one of Marin and Moses to offer the width. I always felt with players like Wright Phillips and Robben that if a player like Rio got in contact with them then Rio would just shove them to one side but not with Moses he'll have it with Rio. My friend (wigan fan) was telling me that he's similar to Valencia in that he has a brilliant cross and powerful surging runs he said that for a 21 year old we've got a real player who can hurt teams away from home were there is space on the counter attack and he's very unselfish. zolayes, TorontoChelsea and sLOVEnian Blue

Milan 17,956
So happy he scored on his full debut and won a penalty (even though a soft one). It will only help his confidence.

Jase 43,479
Quite pleased from what I've seen from him so far. Been influential in the game he has played for us. One thing I would like to see is him getting on the ball a little bit more. That way, we would really get to see what he can do with it over a consistent period of time. One negative aspect of him right now is he seems to go down rather easily at times and he basically dived to get the penalty last night. OneMoSalah 8,886
IF YOU STILL THINK HULK WAS A BETTER FIT FOR CHELSEA THAN VICTOR MOSES THEN READ THIS.....HULK HAS BEEN OVERHYPED FOR AGES JUST BECAUSE HE SCORES 20 GOALS PER SEASON IN ONE OF THE MOST ONE SIDED LEAGUES I HAVE EVER FUCKING SEEN. ITS LIKE SAYING GARY HOOPER IS WORTH 50 MILLION BECAUSE HE SCORES 20 GOALS A SEASON IN THE SPL. MOSES IS MORE THAN RAW TALENT, HES ACTUALLY BETTER THAN MOST GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR, HE IS ABLE TO DO THINGS HULK CANNOT LIKE ACTUALLY DEFEND, PLAY FOR THE TEAM, PROVIDE WIDTH RATHER THAN CUTTING IN 24/7 AND USE HIS RIGHT FOOT. HE IS VERSATILE AND SO IS HULK BUT UNLIKE HULK HE IS ACTUALLY EFFECTIVE ON THE RIGHT OR LEFT WHERE AS HULK IS MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE ON THE RIGHT AS HE ALWAYS CUTS IN AND GETS 59499 YARDS OF SPACE TO SHOOT OVER THE BAR CONSTANTLY. IF HULK WAS SO GOOD WHY IS HE NOT SCORING A GOAL EVERY GAME IN THE RUSSIAN LEAGUE?!?!??!?!! WELL JUST MY OPINION BUT STILL, SEEMS LEGIT CAP LOCK FTW.
