vion_vion 0
If Hazard can reproduce the form he displayed against Wigan\Reading, we will be in for a treat. It will be interesting to see the team put up by Pardew for the Europa match today. Pacquiao 1,834
please no one put Sturridge in their starting line up ahead of Ramires!!! yes Sturridge is a better winger than Ramires but it would be suicide to start Danny ahead of Ramires and i'm 100% sure RDM will know that! Ramires gives us real balance to the team and does a job going both ways, i would like to see Sturridge come on at some point in the game but certainly not to start. Naked Mole Rat 437
Newcastle are obviously a tricky side, but I'm feeling fairly confident about this one.
BleedsBlue 1,549
I'd start Romeu instead of Mikel for this one as the Spaniard is a much calmer and quicker forward passer of the ball.

Jase 43,479
Funny how this fixture comes so fast after what happened last season...It's gonna be a tough game this as we have won only 1 of our last 4 PL encounters against Newcastle and they are unbeaten in their last 3 visits to the Bridge(4 in all competitions). EskWeston 696
If we just to continue as we have i am sure we will be fine, our attacking play is getting better and better and we can deal with them at the back. I would think we will see a line up pretty similar to yesterdays. Personally i would like to see Ramires play in the midfield 2 and influence the game there, and how soon will we see Oscar, Mata and Hazard start together. I think Sturridge also is worth a shout as he performed well and showed what he can offer. Plenty of options which is only good.

Milan 17,956
There's no way we will let them repeat the 2-0 win they achieved at the Bridge last season. A tough fixture but if we continue progressing then we should be fine.3 wins out of 3 games would be perfect before the pause.
Hutcho 8,443
cechcesar(bertrand) cahill terry coleromeu lampsrambo mata hazardivanovic Think there is little to no chance that romeu will start considering he didn't even come of the bench when we were 3-2 up and raul came on ahead of him in the double pivot. Hutcho 8,443
Before the big break i will just take the 3 points however they come... I expect to see the exact same lineup as we did yesterday i think... Luiz may be put back in if he is fit but other than that i don't expect any changes... Milan 17,956
Right, however I would quite appreciate if Ramires was not put on the RW any more. Simply because he is not a RW and it is quite obvious on the pitch.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Alright, our first big test. Let's see what we're made of. I am slightly less confident about this one. I think Ramires or Bertrand may play on the wing to provide defensive stability. We need to win most of our home games. After this game I think we'll have a much better indication of where we are at. I'll be optimistic and say: 3-2 Chelsea
Zone 290
Against the trio Newcastle has up front, starting the game with Romeo would be retarded. The kid hasn't played a proper match In a while and RDM isn't gonna give him a spot against the likes of Cabaye and Tiote. Ramires is an automatic pick, too. Last year when we faced them at st James I was shitting myself but we ran trough them. After seeing their opening fixture against a weakened Spurs, i gotta say that they didn't look anything special. Tottenham definitely didn't deserved to loose that one so I hope we won't won't be as naive in the back because their strikers need only a couple of chances. And at last, I hope that Coloccini is still out. CrackIng fixture this one!
