i have never said this but considering the comments here, is it something like the brazilians HAVE to support oscar no matter what!!!

he was our worst player on the pitch in the first half. how difficult is it to accept that???

against a team like everton we need more solidity in mid and i think rambo will start. so in short its oscar/cesc/willian for CAM, i have no doubt in my mind who SHOULD NOT start.

In the first half he was clumsy an awkward, it seemed like every time he was on the ball he lost it or made the wrong decision. The second half is a different story, he was excellent, you have to give him massive credit for raising his game.

He was poor in the first half, but he was instrumental in our attacks and general play going forward in the second. Of course some will overlook his second half and just focus on his first though...

sometimes it feels he plays for Arsenal, Spurs, City given how much people want to make him look bad or worse. I don't get it.

The whole team was poor the first half, not fair to single out one player. I thought he was terrific the second half on both ends of the pitch. He will receive criticism no matter what.

He was better than quite a few in the first half of which the team was generally terrible . In d first half he lost a few balls(everyone did some more than him) but also stopped attacks to our goal but a very good game overall.

He was shit in the first half like everyone else apart from Eden. He was outstanding in the 2nd and was the player that got a foothold on the game. Not Costa, Cesc, Schurrle or Hazard but him.

His intelligence to fill in around the pitch when Hazard, Schurrle and most importantly Cesc drift out of position, gives us fluidity. His workrate and defensive ability also gives Fabregas the license to play deeper. Does his defensive work and then gets involved further up.

Great curling shot that he was unlucky not to score from and then he played about 3 or 4 brilliant passes into space, most importantly the through pass in the build up to Diego's goal.

All I care here is that Chelsea wins matches, plays well and for the players to do well. If he wants to play his daughter and wife against City, Everton, Arsenal and we win, I don't give an actual fuck.

I'm talking about this season, the fact that Oscar didn't do a good pre-season, clearly still out of form and started our two official matches back me up, not what José said 12, 6 or 3 months ago. I'm building my opinion on facts, not guesses.

He's an important player - so much that even when he's clearly not playing his best yet - far from it - he's still nailed in the starting XI. Who starts against Everton next week will hopefully do a good job, whoever that is. I'm positive Mourinho doesn't have major - if any - complaints about Oscar right now. He'll choose the best system, the best players and hopefully we win. I just hope Oscar - as well as our other players - keep progressing, playing better and making us competitive.

This thread sucks because it almost feels like some here want him to fail or rejoice in his bad moments. It's a shame. I don't expect everyone to understand something so basic though. It seems common sense isn't that common after all.

Exactly! and scoring that first was key! It opened the game up.
