"Tottenham also made an offer, but he should accept Chelsea's offer as there is more exposure there."

HAHAHAHA! That's what I like to hear. Fuckin Spud scum.

You missed a bit:

"Chelsea did offer 25 million euros, but there is still no agreement between the clubs, that will probably happen within the next days. Giuliano Bertolucci (Oscar's main agent) will travel to England to finalise the remaining details. " :getin:

i dont this huy but would we put him in the squad or send out on loan? not what you would want but what is most likely to happen? will he be given shot like kdb or loans like other youth signings?

thx.

He at the moment is Brazil national team starter, do you think he will go on loan?

He will most likely be played in the double pivot, Lampsy's successor hopefully.

The only thing that worries is me is that with Oscar-Hazard-Mata we won't have a lot of width. As someone said this could perhaps be helped with Marin and Ramires coming on or starting when we need width. It looks like we've either given up on Hulk or using all these deals as smokescreens to continue our negotiations with Hulk and Porto.

Last week - Victor Moses, yesterday - Andre Schurrle, today Oscar. I think the board is looking at other alternatives. As you said, the problem with Oscar is that we will have no real width to stretch opponents wide. Ramires is hardly an out and out winger while Malouda doesn't have the pace to cut it in the wings anymore. Not really sure we need Oscar when we have got Mata and KDB for the CAM role with both Lampard and Benayoun able to give backup

I watched some stuff on ytube, good prospect, but I noticed he was heavily tired after Argentina game in 60 minute. Tempo in PL is even higher and I doubt he would be our starter. Certainly joker from bench and Lamps replacement, but if he turns great, we will play him lot and he will be even more tired than Mata in last season at the end.

That was his 4th match in 15 days. And he won't turn that good that he will play as much as Mata did in his first season. He's not at that level yet.

As I say, I was full sure that he would inevitably end up at Barcelona or Real Madrid, or at least one of the big Italian clubs (traditionally a more regular home for top Brazilian players than the English league). I couldn't get over just how good this lad is, terrific vision, a turn of pace, skill and an excellent decision maker. A forward line of

Torres

Mata, Oscar, Hazard

is hugely exciting. If anyone has doubts about him then watch the Brazilian side at the Olympics, this guy is the real deal.

You seem to know about this guy a lot so I want to ask you,

Can he play as a deep lying playmaker?

The role currently Lampard is playing?

More important what role you think would suit him the best?

The one you just put? Behind the striker where Mata plays?

Chelsea's signing of Oscar will bring a touch of class to Roberto Di Matteo's team

Whisper it quietly, but Roberto di Matteo's Chelsea might just be the Premier League's most exciting team next season.

Rebuilding job: Oscar becomes Chelsea's third young singing of the summer, joining Eden Hazard and Marko Marin at Stamford Bridge Photo: AFP

For so long practitioners of domineering, stifling football that dates back to Jose Mourinho's spell and win at all costs mentality (ideally 1-0), this summer's transfer dealings suggest a philosophical change will finally arrive at Stamford Bridge.

Didier Drogba has gone, Michael Essien could well follow and the deadweight of reliably average players such as Jose Bosingwa and Salomon Kalou is gradually being pruned from the squad.

In their place Roberto Di Matteo has gone about snapping up some of the world's most lusted-after young players. The potentially thrilling duo of Eden Hazard and Marko Marin have already joined, and they will be welcoming 20-year-old Brazilian Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Junior later this week.

Oscar, much easier to fit on the back of a shirt, will bring unsurprisingly outrageous technique to Chelsea.

He is especially good at striking the ball with the outside of his foot, can drift off players in an instant and has an innate understanding of when he's in space for shots from long range:

Internacional deny Oscar offers

"There have been no offers for Oscar and Leandro Damiao," Luigi told Radio Gaucha.

"Internacional have the practice of selling one or two players every transfer window.

"This system has been working and we will keep it, developing players, then finding replacements if they are sold while the window is open.

"So we might sell a player, but right now no offer has been made for any player in the squad."

Oscar admits he is in the dark over Chelsea's reported interest in him and that he will let his club decide his future.

"I follow there and sincerely I do not know news about Chelsea," Oscar told O Globo.

"I know that some European clubs are interested in me but I have spoken with the president ( Giovanni Luigi) and he insists that they still have not received any formal offer."

This reminds me of the Lukaku deal, expect the transfer fee is even more insane.

A truly baffling signing this would be, there is no space in the squad for him. He's an attacking midfielder, he won't play deep, we will leak goals next season, a squad of small fragile players. We desperately need a 'physical presence' to balance out the small technical players further forward, ala Hulk.

I wouldn't say i know a lot, I've seen him play for the senior Brazilian side each time and I've seen him a couple of times for his club side, I would say Henrique has a far deeper knowledge of the player.

From what I have seen of him I have been hugely impressed, he instantly caught my eye as a top prospect. I believe he can play deeper, ala Modric but I think you might be reducing his attacking instincts if you play him as part of a double pivot, the lad is a number 10, a true number 10, while Hazard and Mata can play out wide, it would leave the number 10 spot open to Oscar, obviously it wouldn't be a rigid formation, those players are mobile and intelligent enough to constantly switch positions.

I definitely think the number 10 would be his best role, though he has occasionally played out wide for brief periods in the matches I have seen, he has the qualities to do that but I would definitely say that primarily he is a number 10.

Oscar can play deep. He has played a deep lying playmaker role for Brazil often in recent International matches, you only have to youtube Oscar vs USA or Oscar vs Denmark to see. He is very effective in a deep role playing kind of like Romeu but quicker and can go forward to more effect! Oscar is naturally a central attacking midfielder but can also play wing too which he has assisted a fair few goals in his International appearances. This is would be a very good signing for us and talking of physical presence i agree that playing in the Premier League week in, week out you do need some power to match pace but if these players can produce their best football who's to say their raw skill and ability isn't enough to whip teams every week? We have Ramirez who is a gritty and determined player along with Romeu who isn't exactly weak, with the Mikel, Lukaku, KDB and Lampard who aren't exactly pushovers on the ball I don't think the need for Hulk is as essential as everybody believes! Just because we have become use to having Drogba who was a powerhouse doesn't mean we have to continue playing with that bulldozer style going forward I mean after all aren't we trying to change the way we play and win?
