Bosnian Blue 2,471
Haven't seen the game, but is he really that good ?Having read all these posts it seems we have, as Martin Tyler used to say, pulled the rabbit out of the hat again.

He was great on the ball, had an exceptional range of passing, and threw in a bit of flair, also was confident and was able to keep posession... Its just one game, but the signs are definately promising. Bosnian Blue

He really is that good. Playing from a wide position but given the freedom to roam inside, drop deep and push forward centrally. It was a very complete performance from a player far more mature than his age would suggest. There is every reason why we should be excited about seeing him in a Chelsea jersey. It's not about that, but he does everything with such ease it's amazing. His movement is very good and he is always there when you're in trouble. No fancy feints from him, he just walks through opponents and sprays those balls. All he needs is a fast glance at teammates and he'll send a great pass like for his 2nd assist. What I really like about him is that he dictates the tempo and plays really well in deep positions also, so along with Mata and Hazard I'm pretty sure we would control the games nicely, especially when you have calm passers like Lampard, Essien and Mikel. Chelsea? 892
If he can play on the right wig then this will get interesting. Eden - Mata - Oscar. All with some freedom. Hope we can make this work.
zolayes 14,489
his motto should be "waste not want not " rarely wasted a ball ... Neymar was like a classier Danny but still too fucking greedy Hutcho
Bosnian Blue 2,471
That sounds great lads. Now looking forward to seeing him against stronger teams and better defences. Haven't really seen much of Oscar so far tbh, but he seems like a player we've been crying for.

TacticalBlues 2,817
Oscar isn't short of admirers. It's always good to have a player which fans (Chelsea or not) enjoy watching play and is liked as a player. Look at the difference between Suarez for example who was being booed at every touch earlier
Pizy 18,907
Just reading through some opposing clubs' forums and they're all impressed with Oscar.I even sense a bit of concern from Citeh's Blue Moon boards. One poster said we're now a RB and young CB away from being a serious threat. They have a 10 page thread for him since we signed him yesterday. Hutcho 8,443
he was the finisher though not the play makerHe is everything, but i go off topic, and that is met with harsh punishment. On topic, we could play:Mata Oscar HazardBut without seeing hazard on the right it would be quite risky, or play oscar in the 2 holding though it could leave us vulnerable on the counter... Decisions, decisions... zolayes
