The Big Drog 1,110
Good result against awkward opponents. Very good performance from Oscar, a very complete player. I definitely wouldn't fancy team GB against Brazil.
JDY 1,290
gunnersopinion.com @gunnersopinionI hate watching Brazil at the Olympics just because I have to watch Oscar play so well in the knowledge he's off to Chelsea.Hehe blu35_army
AfricanBlue 104
Another great performance from Oscar, was impressed by how well he was able to keep possession under pressure. He took quite a few knocks but it didn't seem to throw him which could bode well for his adaptation to life in the prem.
Superblue 6,372
His performance today epitomised why he is going to be the key to getting a more offensive minded 4-2-3-1 to be successful.Starting as the 'central' of the 3, he is obviously effective in that hole behind the striker. However if space is minimal, he'll look for somewhere with space to operate in a very intelligent manner. He is more than happy to drop deep and build attacks from such a position, which will make him very difficult to man mark and pick up. In doing this he will create space further infront of him for Mata and Hazard to attack, both equally as effective and dangerous. His intelligence to drop deeper at times will also benefit our pivot. It will not only take pressure off them to 'create' which everybody seems to be having a stroke about on this forum, but also adds an extra body at times which can help dominate opposition midfield's in attack and aid preventing counter attacks and being caught out when defending. This kid will make us tick and I cannot wait for him to get here! Rahul Haque 57
i am absolutely imperssed with his consistent roaming and movement in the final third. he has to be on the pitch from whenever he comes. i dont care if it means ramires or mereiles or whoever gets dropped. he has to be on the same pitch as mata and hazard. the prospect is too mouth watering. i really hope rdm does this. but i get the feeling he will always play a work horse instead of flair which will mess everything up. Yaya Toure at Man City, Khedira at Madrid - Ramires' position moving forward should be within the pivot, rotating with Mikel, Essien and Lampard. daBlackMamba7

Rahul Haque 57
the big question is can ramires play as a pivot? he wasn't particularly impressive against napoli there but then again his partner was raul mereiles. i would like to see him along side romeu/mikel in that role. Ramirez hasnt been selected for Brazil since beginning of 2011. Are you sure it was Ramirez?

You absolutely need a creative player and excellent passer in that position and Ramires has many skills but his creativity and passing are not among them.
