Daniel Sturridge

I doubt Sturridge would be going anywhere, anytime soon. He's yet to be given a full match and in all his cameos so far this season, he's been very impressive. He's (or could be) an English international, so such stories are expected when he's not playing for whatever reasons, be it injuries or loss of form. Sturridge is an ambitious kid and wouldn't want to be playing in Europa or worst still battling for premier league survival with Liverpool. He'd rather play out his 1 and half years remaining on his contract and leave for a better club than Liverpool.

I say sell him in January. He probably won't ever be #1 here...which is what he wants.

Well it's difficult to become #1 if you are not given a chance in your natural position, I'd understand if we had given him 3-4 matches in a row leading the attack and he failed but since he was signed he has probably played less than 5 games up top in the Carling Cup or some other useless fixture. I doubt any player expects to be #1 without proving themselves and obviously after his loan at Bolton he expected to be played up top for us something which never materialized.
