Las7 951
He demanded position...CF or....No player should be allowed that. He even opened his mouth publically, not accepted by..calm down now. If you love him so much, you know what team he plays for now. Watch him there. That's another myth He never made such a demand, he has publicly always said he is happy to play anywhere the coach asks but ideally would like to play through the middle. The only place to be 11,313
O Rly? You know what loosing out on the top 4 because of that blonde piece of crap will cost us nearly as much as we have spend on him. HE HAS NOT SCORED A GOAL IN THE LEAGUE SINCE DECEMBER.Meantime Sturridge scored goals against Us; City; Manchester United - for half an year Sturridge has more important goals for Liverpool in the League than Torres has for over 2 years at CFC!And if we hadn't made the financial commitment to Torres we probably could've given him more chances.Fortunately we'll move onwards and upwards. didierforever 7,349
If I remember well, he wasn´t much in those few games he played. Mind you I do agree he could have gotten more chances. His attitude was not what Chelsea needed. Let him play for Liverpoops, he is not missed by Chelsea.how is he not missed by us? if we just exchanged the strikers today, we would have won the match... damn it we could have won so much more thru out the whole season. Fucking Carroll was signed by Liverpool for 35 million pounds - didn't stop them from loaning him to West Ham which is his level - Torres should be loaned to fucking QPR, they fucking deserve a striker like him

Stats 7,142
Somehow, most of you keep forgetting Sturridge did not want to play for Chelsea. His shitty attitude, selfishness was not good for the team. Chelsea were correct to sell him. 12m is in the bank, so fuck Sturridge, let him play in Liverpoops. Why would he want to stay when he could not start over a shit striker like Torres. We really correct to sell him, yeah and he scores and creates and an assist while the guy who he could not crazily replace in our team, played a 90 min and was fuckin garbage. Popular Post! YouNameIt 1,511 Posted April 21, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted April 21, 2013 Whats funny about some people here at the forums is that sometimes the press are all retards, making stuff up and hating on Chelsea. On the other hand, some of you blindly trust some shitty non-fact story when in this case its about Danny.Where the fuck did anyone get the idea he didnt want to play in Chelsea? And that he has a shitty attitude and all that, where does it come from? Can anyone of the fuckwits who keep saying that give me some proof? AND BEFORE YOU DO THAT, I want you to consider the following: reflect over how our captain, John Terry, is seen and how he somtimes act. Thank you.Last but not least:I am CONVINCED that had we not bought Torres, Danny would still be with us and he would probably be one of the best strikers in the PL by now. He was sidelined even when Torres was fucking awful and he was constantly played out of position. In addition to that, you guys have no clue what the managers told him tactic-wise. Fact remains, he wasnt used the way he should have. Again our board failed bigtime.PS: If you dont want to discuss in this thread and are annoyed by it; keep out. didierforever, Muzchap, Blue Armour and 3 others

The only place to be 11,313
Torres should have gone, not Sturridge.Should have gone where? I don't think Liverpool came to us and said we need a striker and we'll pay what you want, and we asked if they wanted the white one or the black one.Torres earns a lot of money. He's also not very good. Other teams see this, so why would they be in a rush to buy him? We're stuck with him for the foreseeable future so you can either let this giant drain on your resources rot or you give him EVERY chance to succeed, even if it costs you in the short-term.Unfortunately he didn't get better. But at no point in time was it a straight choice between Sturridge and Torres as players - there are massive financial and commercial aspects involved. bushman 2,043
Torres should have gone, not Sturridge. How was that possible ? I hope you remember how much Chelsea paid for Torres. The team could not off load him anywhere, then. Therefore, the choice was obvious. Much better to cash 12m then having Sturridge distracting others.

didierforever 7,349
since people "seem" to be so enlightened on all the financial aspects of the club, tell me how much is chelsea going to be losing by not playing in the CL next season, by not getting high quality players due to lack of CL, one of the best coach in the world. and compare it with exactly how much we would have lost financially had we done the right thing and sold torres. also explain to me exactly what would have happened if we had just let torres go without thinking of the financial implications. answer is - FFP would have screwed us and we could not play CL for a season, is not that what seems most probable now? Jase 43,479
Predicted he would score against us today and he did. So inevitable! At least he didn't celebrate the goal though. On the other hand, this is a poor poor challenge on Bertrand.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJGFfJwjgFw&feature=youtu.beHave seen so many of this lately and most have gone unpunished! Popular Post! Muzchap 8,966 Posted April 21, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted April 21, 2013 Sturridge showed what we have missed up front...Sturridge + BA would have been a great combo and I would gladly swap Studge for Moses.Sturridge hit the post, set up 2 great chances and scored in 45 mins - whilst our striker had 90 to achieve precisely fuck all.Yes Studge should be in trouble for his tackle on Bert - but I don't think it was malicious, I think it was more Danny being a little revved up. All the bullshit about him the media spouted is now shown as bullshit.Give the lad a chance and he will take it... He always makes something happen. I hope he continues to play - I will always support him in an England shirt! Just hope he leaves Loserpool soon! So Studge was a mistake IMHO - but that's life, lets wish him well and focus on 3rd spot Las7, Blue Armour, The Skipper and 2 others
