termninja 5,290
There is something that gives me a bit of hope. Under Harry players had loads of freedom and atmosphere was really relaxed. He was not some tactical master or attention whore, he would basically just come in, tell 'em they know what to do and put them on the pitch. When Andre starts...it will be loads of videos, constant instructions, no freedom, crazy tactical switches...Tottenham players may not like it.Or perhaps they'll like it and they establish themself in the PL...we'll see.Still remember how when he is being asked a simple question in post match interviews etc and he can give you a response back enough to fill 2-3 pages of essay. Hah yeah
Tomo 21,751
Didn't Van Der Vaart say a while back he preffered Harry's relaxed approach compared to Jose's tactical way of going about things?Wait till AVB has finished with him
Jype 6,398
What a wanker. Can't believe I actually defended him only a couple of months ago and even after his sacking wished him the best. Seems to be so bitter about getting the sack and Di Matteo winning the double with that same squad who refused to play for him. Well, can't really blame him because I'm sure any manager on earth would rather be a Champion of Europe with Chelsea rather than get sacked and take charge of a second-rate club who are selling all their best players.Spurs fans have now become even more irritating. When AVB was still the Chelsea manager they were constantly undermining him but now he's like a god to them and he's sure to be the next Mourinho. Apparently he only failed at Chelsea because our players and even Di Matteo are all such cunts who stabbed him in the back and the man himself has no faults as a manager. After what Lukaku said and what AVB has been saying about us ever since he has been appointed Spurs boss, it looks like Henrique might have been right after all. We will find out for sure at Spurs as he won't have "the players ruined it for him" line to fall back on.
Peace. 4,352
Until now, I was defending him, even after his remarks about the credits he should have be given for our CL win. But now, what he has said is over the top. If he wants to take a dig at Lampard and the other players responsible for his lay-off, it would have been comprehensible, since he has somehow a business with/them. I would even say it is his right. But, taking a dig at Chelsea, the entity, by implying that this club does have a shit tradition or whatesoever, and that it doesn't have "competent people"... It is really pitiful. He is really an arrogant prick. He wants to impersonate Mourinho, but José can be arrogant, since he is one of the best manager, and has achieved great things. But he, he didn't have achieved anything great. And he seems that he doesn't have learnt anything from last year, i.e. stopping to open his mouth.I hope his season at Birds turns out to be a fiasco. I deeply hope we smash him in a Barcelona-esque way, so he cannot bitch about us playing bad. And I even dare hoping, that Frank Lampard scores an hat-trick and comes to celebrates in front of him, in the following way (see picture below). It would be the best response. BleedsBlue 1,549
I really don't care what he says about us.Till an extent,I can empathize with man because he was given full backing by Roman and to be sacked 9 months in the job would have been quite humiliating for Andre. Its obvious that the players called for his head and put Roman on the spot as the results under him were terrible.Roman had no choice but to sack him and Andre shouldn't really cry too much about it now.Andre only has himself to blame for the sacking because he ignored to follow any way other than his own.His man management and communication skills were poor and if he wants to be the manager we all wish him to be,he must change his style. If these media outrages are his way of getting back at the people responsible for his sacking then so be it.He is now the manager of our rivals and if he really wants to get back at us then he should convey it on the field. Hutcho 8,443
All that matters to me is that we have the trophy and all the videos and images of the team and RDM with it... Yes he played an early role in members of the team getting there, but whatever... We don't need to say anything we have a double winning season under RDM. Tottenham vs chelsea will be tasty... ChelseaChick 430
This was always going to happen, he has gone to our rivals so no one should of been expecting anything better than what he has to say. He can hardly be nice about Chelsea after everything and if he did have something good to say he would be ridiculed by the Spurs fans before he even got started. I think it would of been different if there was a bit more time between him being sacked and taking the Spurs job. He has a big mouth and if it makes him feel better talking shite about Chelsea then so be it! Can't wait for us to play Spurs, 3 points is all that matters. I really couldn't give a flying fuck about what he's got to say.
Tomo 21,751
@ChelseaChick there are simple way's around it tho, if he is asked a question about Chelsea then he responds with something like "Chelsea is in my past now and im looking forward to the future and that is with my job managing Tottenham Hotspurs".The way he has been talking about us shows that he isn't really learning from the mistakes he has made with us, which is why at the time i wanted us to stick with him because i thought he would eventually learn from his mistakes but he clearly isn't.Did Jose make similar comments when he joined Inter? or Carlo when appointed PSG manager? they had more reason to be bitter about their sacking's than AVB did. ChelseaChick 430
Like I said, he has a big mouth so if it makes him feel better talking shite then whatever! Doesn't bother me what he has to say, all I care about is us beating them on the pitch, not the war of words!

Duppy Conqueror 1,534
be interesting to see how the spurs players handle being dropped with no explanation being given. they might not have a squad as strong as ours but they have around the same amount of players .we get to face their high-line defense. little dink over the CB and watch Torres score a few goals the spitting image of what he did at the nou camp. I think his high line might work. Though his idea of converting strikers to wingers might undo him, that's only worked consistently well with Hulk. He tried it with Lukaku, would you believe

Need to have a good mobility along with a quick speed thought.
