I love how everyone's so quick to judge the guy

All we legitimately know is he's leaving for England. Anything else is pretty much hearsay. He's been to the Manchester derby, but he's also been to the Emirates as well. He's just a young, talented kid with a lot of options.

Don't hate on him because of the state of football. It dictates you follow money & ambition. The two go hand-in-hand.

Any animosity should be at City not Hazard, and the illegitimacy of the Etihad deal, everyone is at a disadvantage due to the FFP... except City. All this 'rather them than United' bollocks is a logical fallacy.

I would understand him to go to United, but if he goes to City it will be clear he goes more after money, he should have learned that Nasri who was huge star of Arsenal and EPL is now just shadow at city. This would kill a bit of his reputation, also he seems he wants to shine and play in next club. At Cfc, he would have starting role guaranteed and also be star/key player.

I accept that might not be the case, but it's the most likely scenario considering the amount of capital they have and they would only look to strengthen their squad. That means they're more likely to pose a bigger threat to Europe & England than Man United or Chelsea. At the moment anyway.

Therefore you simply cannot blame Hazard. Yes, he'll get a bumper deal with his contract, but he'd get a great deal at United & Chelsea too.. We'd pay extraordinary wages so why can't someone like Arsenal turn around and say the same thing if he'd join us? "he's chasing the money".

Personally I only see one big reason for him to go to city: Vincent Kompany! Do not underestimate the power of the captian of our national squad on younger players like Hazard. Not only is he a fantastic player... he also is a very nice person and a true leader for the young belgian players at the moment.

Hazard had always claimed he would only go to a club where he would play (he was the key player for 4 years...) cannot think of him sitting on a bench and waisting his time. So OR Kompany & Mancini had good news for him ... OR there still is a small chance he would come to the Bridge !!
