Every youtube compilation of any footballer is attached with the most shocking selections of dubstep/techno/hip-hop/ songs ever produced on planet Earth. Im convinced the creators of these videos have a silent agreement between eachother to make all of their viewers suffer for working hard on the compilation by choosing said music. Madting. Sadting. He scores a lot of beauties as well so it's hard to remember all. Many will tell you he disappears in big games though. Not now of course but if he doesn't perform well in a big game in the future I'm sure that claim will pop up. The only one to regularly impact tough games along with Didier and Frankie in the Roman era. It's not even just games in which he scores or assists. He's produced plenty of performances in which he ran top opposition ragged and initiated most of Chelsea's attacks. I hope he stays for many more years and I can only hope he doesn't grow tired of getting hacked down on a weekly basis. Tomo

People just love to complain and criticise others. You have to perform at a high level every time you set foot on the pitch. If not, you'll be dubbed 'inconsistent'. It used to annoyme in the past but nowadays it just makes me laugh. This is the internet's fault. Ten years ago, most people would watch a dozen of games at best per season while only the few fortunates were able to see all the games (i.e. those who were going to game). And most importantly, those people who could watch only a few games per seasons were watching the best games : the Champions League, el Clasico, the Milan derby, etc... (or th internaitonal games that were still quality back then). On the other hand, nowadays there are literally millions of people and their dogs that can see all the games of their team via streaming and that can rewatch them via download. So while before you were only recalling the good things as it was a joy to watch games, now it has become a routine and "annoying" things are harder to dismiss... Tautvix 1,321
Shocking performance from Hazard so far... It's like he does a moment of magic (vs Arsenal) and then he makes 5 shit performances, then does something impressive again. And it repeats. kellzfresh 7,229
He needs to meet with Pedro to teach him the meaning of making runs without the ball. The only style of play he has is dribbling and making one two's, and once that isn't working, he has a terrible first half like he did again today. Off the ball runs will add unpredictability to his style and make him not disappear totally in large spells of the match. xPetrCechx

He was making a lot of runs off the ball and has been doing that for 2 years now. I'm not sure what you're talking about my good friend. Also, he improved quite a lot in the 2nd half as expected when we started playing football. The problem is when we don't play football, Hazard struggles to touch the ball in dangerous areas and we struggle to play well away from home. 1chelsea, Blue Armour, Johnnyeye and 1 other

Hazard makes as much off the ball runs as Willian which I consider not enough for any attacking winger that has a desire to score. He mostly wants the ball to feet, it's easy to mark when his dribbling isn't working. The only off the ball runs I see from hazard is during a counterattack or a one two combination. Pedro does that every time and that's why he's scored more than hazard since he started against Leicester in October. I completely disagree with you that Hazard's runs off the ball are comparable to Willian's. Willian rarely even does that. Hazard has been making a lot of runs off the ball that he could possibly do without occupying the same lanes Costa does. If anything, he' making TOO MANY runs off the ball. Pedro and Hazard have scored the same amount of goals this season but Pedro has also started in the cup and is a known goal-scoring winger while Hazard's primary strength is not his goal-scoring. Anyway, i'm not going to argue the point since it's not something seriously worth discussing especially since Hazard's performance today isn't something worth discussing. Watch Hazard very closely from now on off the ball. We can't expect him to be our primary ball carrier then also make more runs than he needs to when we have Costa and Pedro for that.
