Pizy 18,897
Unless something catastrophic happened in his personal life that no one knows about then surely he has to have been playing injured for most, if not all season. No way can a player of his ability just become abysmal that quickly. Like a switch on his back was flicked basically. It would be hugely beneficial if he didn't go to the Euro's and had an extended break. Too bad that won't happen. Starting next season under a new manager with (hopefully) a bunch of new faces fully rested and fit would be awesome. El P. 1,354
Fun fact is that Belgium is in group with Italy. Live audition for Conte. Don't choke, Eden... (assuming that he plays at all.) Essien19, BlueLyon and Mustafa
BlueLyon 9,359
Judging by Hiddink comments, Eden doesnt even think he needs to work alot more or change his approach as if he had no problem with playing at the level he is right now. And that might be the biggest problem with his poor form. The kid simply has to show more motivation and desire, hopefuly the experience will play its part and he will grow up and become more responsible. They have a tendency of rewording things and leaving things out for more sensationalistic articles. They also frequently, "accidentally", mistranslate things. http://www.espnfc.com/chelsea/story/2851213/eden-hazard-must-play-like-a-kid-to-recover-form-hiddink This is the same article from ESPNFC but the wording is a bit different and here it seems Hiddink is actually defending Hazard from such accuations... "Hazard has also faced accusations of a lack of commitment due to his body language on the pitch this season, but Hiddink believes this is simply a result of the 25-year-old's introverted personality. "He has proven that he can be at a high level," Hiddink added. "Some people express themselves in a different way than others, so you must always be careful in your judgement when someone is a bit more introverted." Stats 7,142
This is the Hazard of old we have missed. This was not even a fully fit Hazard. Imagine what a fully fit Hazard will do. Hope we keep such players for eternity. By the way, whats the Over and under of hazard being over weight come the next season?
Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
Y'all still want Hazard gone tho right? Wasn't he the 'rat'? And didn't he not care anymore? He had a horrendous season, it happens. And watch what happens next season when the God returns back to PFA Player of the year status. Don't worry, I got them receipts lined up.
