Some people seriously worry too much. He said he can cope a year without Champions League football but people still worry. If he hadn't say anything, people will still worry.

He would probably leave for Madrid at some point but maybe, people should give him the benefit of the doubt more and have more faith in what he says.

The one question mark surrounds Eden Hazard. The Belgian has been well below par this season, and despite some more positive signs of late, there remain some concerns. Against Newcastle, he produced more backheels than one could count, though it is hard to remember him actually trying to beat a defender, an act that used to be his trademark. Although he kept the ball moving well enough, his close-range trickery and ability to carve a situation out of nothing is his reason for being in the team. Without that, he is just another player. His total lack of confidence in front of goal is now almost getting silly. Having been played in with an inch-perfect pass by Fabregas on Saturday, Hazard dithered with ball rather than taking a shot and the chance was spurned to leave him once again with his head in his hands.

All of this would not be so frustrating if he hadn't just given an interview to Le Parisien in which he admitted that "it would difficult to say no to PSG." Now this might just be a classic case of trying to destabilise the opposition in the build-up to a big match, but one would hope that at 25 he was old and wise enough not be drawn into creating such headlines. It would also help if his mind was focused on remedying his current form rather than considering his next move.

The perfect answer to his critics and for his own malaise would be for the old Eden Hazard to make an appearance on Tuesday night. The genius has been seen in glimpses this season, and he retains the ability to win a game on his own. If Chelsea are to get through this tie, they will need their superstar to finally start playing like one.

my sentiments exactly!

I'm gonna put money on him scoring tomorrow.

Hes due a Worldie performance for us, I'm thinking we'll smack them bitches up 3-0 and a nice 2-1 at home, then PSG can fuck off where they need to be, in the losers pile.

C'mon Eden time to shine !!!

To be fair you should say the same thing about Mourinho then.

Best manager in club's history.

Has one awful season and he becomes shit for a lot of people in this forum.

What are you on about? Long before we played half of our games the mob was already calling for Jose's head,
if i remember correctly, according to some Jose was the cancer. He is the devil, he has destroyed everything, Pep is the savior. :)
I haven't seen anyone in here who insulted Eden that badly, some people are annoyed because of this performances and more importantly his lack of enthusiasm, imo. His interview isn't helping his case, imo. Especially when it's before our most important game so far, imo.

Hazard has made it clear in the past there is nothing for him in the French league, anyone who believes he wants to go to PSG is insane.

That was before this shit season. In his mind now PSG may seem like a step up.

Some people are really too stupid to understand how our media works.

Hazard spends a whole article essentially saying nothing at all and being nice to everyone, they take one line out of context and put it in the title: *BAM* HAZARD WANTS TO GO TO PSG!!!

Idiots.

Not to mention the timing of this article....they always put stuff like this out before crunch games.

he's on longest scoring drought in his entire football career. why should he be happy now :D

by declaring that he's unsure about his future and not rejecting the possibility of transfer to PSG, this statement already proved that this lad won't be retire in Chelsea.

well.. even frank and JT wont reach that stature.

Money waved at people does very strange things.

Guus is spot on, of course. You go to PSG either if you're coming from a small club and it's a big step up or you've failed at a big club and want the easy life where you don't want to challenge yourself on a daily basis.

In a way, PSG would sort of suit Hazard's personality and game to be honest. He can be his laid back self and won't be depended on to carry the huge load he does here. He wouldn't have to exert himself much in that league and would be surrounded by by far the best players in France.

Life at PSG must be like an endless holiday. Get paid a fat wage to sleepwalk to a title every year and have a handfu of big matches per season in the CL.

Why in your views Hazard is laid back ? Maybe Neymar should go to PSG as well because that his loose style perfectly fits French League ? Hazard is one helluva competitor. Go watch a replay of Tottenham game on 1st of January 2015. Or against Southampton on 28th of December 2014, argubly the match when he was the only one in the entire team to be fit to play after 1 day rest (or as people like to say, give a f***). Remaind yourself how many times he was kicked out of the game and how many times he got up.

He won everything in France. Championship, cup, 3 times in Team of the Season, 2 times Young Player of the Season and 2 times Player of the Season. Adding to that he said he wouldn't go to the French League again other than to Lille. He comes back to Lille to watch a game once in a while.

He is family guy, simple and honest and he already has the money to feed future generations of Hazards.

And he said he wants to improve, win Ballon D'Or, be better and better and better. But people want to ignore all that because of a few lines in one interview.

Can't believe Hazard would pull some shit like that the day before we play PSG. It's half your fault we might miss out on the Champions League bitch!

:D

Wee Pat was saying how many times he said stuff , and it was taken out of context about going to another club

Even if its true, he needs to show the opposition tonight hes worth it so a sterling performance is on the cards
