Jase 43,479
I can only quote others: Maniche For every player that speaks wells about Mourinho, you can easily find those that don't... CFC players know Jose sometimes try get a reaction from them by saying/challenging them trough the media. Yes, we all know that but he doesn't always have to do that. It's become tiresome at this point and considering the number of criticism he's handed out this season alone, one can tell that approach isn't working. He should or needs to mix things up. stroey and zolayes
Pizy 18,896
Can't help but imagine him seeing other top players like himself who play in attack minded teams or for managers that don't demand at all cost that their attacking players defend like it's their job and wish he did as well.He probably sees the likes of Sterling and KDB at City being able to express themselves and put up huge stats at the same time, he sees Neymar doing it at Barca. Alexis at Arsenal. When we were on top last season it was fine to criticize and nitpick. José is just asking for trouble once again here. zolayes and Stats
DYC. 7,542
I can see him leaving at the end of the season - if Mourinho doesn't. Then I hope Roman smashes one of his piggy banks this summer. I can see Mourinho at the helm of Juventus or Inter. Maybe PSG.
Magic Lamps 11,692
Hazard sits one game out and people already know he is off in summer....that is TC for youPeople should stop overreacting. Hazard needs us as much as we need him. If he continues the way he plays atm, no club in the world not even PSG will pay the 100m+ we will demand from him in summer with FOUR years on his contract. If Hazard forces a move after being benched for ONE game, no club will need him anyway. To become a top top player, you need to show some resilience and bounce back from that and I am sure he will as he is not as fickle as the guys who already have him out of the club. On a different note he surely is tired after a hectic international break + he looks out of shape physically, sporting a belly once again. But he will certainly get his act together and peform as last leason. manpe, MihaiM24, Spike and 1 other

They could break the Bayern-Barca-Real dominance of European football.
supporter 3,088
What Jose is doing is giving a warning to try to encourage Hazard. And that's it.Eden has done nothing in the entire season and we need to wake up him or our chances of winning something along of the season will be very small. For me Jose is taking the right path. A good offense starts with a good defense.Yesterday we made our first goal thanks to Willian when he made a good pressure and he recovered a dangerous ball near the opponent's box. That's what Jose is trying to do with Eden. And players like Messi, Ronaldo and Drogba they made it before, and that's what Eden has to do.

He is not a player who has lost his talent overnight and many teams with a different attacking style to us know they would do wonders with him in their team. Even Sterling was not that good at Liverpool last season. Mostly inconsistent but City did not care because they know they are a better team who would get the best out of him. Hazard would thrive in other set ups. I am sure of it. Just look at the amount of talented wingers who have failed to make an impact here but thrived at other clubs. We play too defensive and that gives our opponent a chance to score. Ronald Koeman even said it, we need to put more pressure instead of parking the bus. To be fair we were very lucky yesterday, the two goals that we got didn't feel like real goals. One was a horrible mistake by Guzan and the other was a deflection. If Hazard drops back just like Jose wants him too then he will not have opportunities to score. Messi never defends like Hazard, Ronaldo does not defend like that aswell. It's the left backs job to defend and its the attacking midfielder's job to score. We are integrating Jose's somewhat coward mentality into the club. It's backwards and embarassing to be fair.Look at all the top clubs they all put insane pressure to their opponents. Why? Because putting pressure does not give sides like Villa, Palace etc the chance to attack. Plus it gives us a great stability in our attack aswell. It's a win-win situation. But for me what Jose is doing with Hazard is to give him a warning to wake him.In fact, last week the own Eden Hazard said he was "in the worst period of his career." He needs someone (Jose) to tell him the truth and make him recover his best level. To me Eden Hazard will not be the same case as Mata or KDB. Eden is the cornerstone of our project and Jose is only trying to motivate him.I bet that Eden will be in our starting eleven next Tuesday against Dynamo Kiev. I hope so. Hazardinho 88
Let's play Hazard on the centre back position! Grrr Why asking our team to play defensive? We are Chelsea, the champions. We should never adapt our playing style to the oponent team. Let's play the man city style and let us enjoy the numerous goals Hazard would give us. lucio and zolayes
Popular Post! Peace. 4,352 Posted October 18, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted October 18, 2015 I honestly don't think Hazard's work rate and defending is bad. Far from it actually. He's better than Neymar and Bale in this for example, comparable to Robben and Reus. They seem to do fine for their teams. But he's no workhorse, definitely. His work-rate is neither bad nor excellent. It is just fine. And more importantly, it is perfectly good enough for the role Hazard has, i.e. our best (by far) attacking threat. Anyway, you just do not want your best attacking player to run too much after the ball... And if you deem your team not defensively good enough because your best attacking player does not run like one of those work-horses such as Willian/Ramires, then it means that you are looking in the wrong direction — and you should actually take a look at the defense and the defensive systeme, maybe ? I mean, come on... If Barcelona was regarded as one of the best defense under Guardiola, that is not because Messi was chasing the ball like a mad dog.I really do not know what Mourinho is trying to achieve here with those kind of comments. They are not to motivate Hazard as you do not motivate an attacking player to rediscover his attacking impetuous by saying he is a defensive liability... Is this a way find excuses for having benched him ? That would be a bad PR talk... Is it what he really thinks ? It would be just confessing that he himself is not that good as a coach since the defensive solidity of his team depends on the work-rate of an attacking player... I do not understand where he is coming from as this kind of comments is so wrong on many levels...P.S. maybe he is trying to say to him that he should call him more often like Ivanovic does ? MrBlueGuy 1,552
Mourinho watching Konoplyanka atm, got a feeling unless the situation improves by Xmas one of these 2 people will be out of the door next summer, probably Mourinho. Then again I wouldn't mind us selling Hazard for £100m and sign someone like Isco, Reus for the combined fee or even someone like Bale in exchange is good too.
