duo11bluecl 207
It's not like he randomly picks a corner though... he waits for the keeper to make a move. I see no reason to complain before he starts missingHe already did once last season with this approach but I agree it might not be as bad as I put it I guess. Just hope he is able to hit in more ways like Lampard used to do in his prime or Gerrard recently Weckerz
Belgiannutt 3,201
He always seem to try the same type of penalty, it will eventually get find out by the GK imo. Need to learn to put them hard in the top corner too in case when coming up the bests like Lopez, Neuer, Casillas...etc. Neuer especially best in the world at stopping pen, trying lazy or deceiving pens with him won't work like Ozil did.Get found out ? With our NT he actually had to kick a penalty 2 times in a row as 1 of our players ran into the box to early. Both times he used his technique. So the goalkeeper couldn't have been more prepared yet was simply unable to stop neither one and was sent the wrong way both times. Found some footage of it but it's not the best of quality. MrExcalibur100 7,124
Nothing for his performances against Man City (one of the best performances of any player this season), Newcastle (first hattrick in English football), Fulham, Tottenham. His only poor performance was against West Brom, but the whole team was poor that day. He scored 4 goals and 2 assists in February from the wing, and god knows how many chances he created and how many defenders he embarrassed. And no, Hazard has had a better February than January in the league. Both in terms of quality of opposition, stats and quality of play. And he should have won it in January even. We are talking about a player that is statistically the most creative in all of Europe, and he is not even a playmaker, and he plays for a team without a prolific striker.Sturridge, a striker, on the other hand scored 5 goals in 4 games against West Brom, Fulham, Swansea, Arsenal. He was pretty average against a terrible Arsenal side despite scoring. He missed many guilt edged chances in that game and should have had a hattrick. But when I saw Hazard was up against two other non-Chelsea English players in Nolan and Sturridge, I knew he was not going to win. The English players always get preferential treatment by the FA. And add to the fact that he plays for Chelsea, his chances become slimmer. Just look at how many Chelsea players have won POTM, been in the TOTY and so on. I remember one season, Lampard scored 22 goals and 14 assists in the PL alone, I think 2009/2010, when we won the league....He wasn't even in the TOTY, they gave it to Fabregas. How can a CM have 22 goals and 14 assists in one season and not even be in the TOTY. How many times has Cech been there? Terry compared to Rio? How many MOTM's has Mourinho won? Zero. They clearly discriminate against us, it's something I noticed a long time ago and something Mourinho even alluded to in the post-match press conference vs Newcastle. Fuck them. If Chelsea do win the title, I hope Hazard is recognized as the best player in England and Mourinho the best manager, but I won't hold my breath.
