Well he can't ignore a question when asked right? There is a thing such as media relations..I think its just his polite way of saying that its not the right time to discuss. After all, its a two-way street...the contract renewal is not up to Hazard alone.

Obviously he has to answer, but should do it like Kante did. Simple answer Im happy.

But Eden always says we will see...obviously media loves that because it creates rumours and they will ask him every time again and again.

Its his fault for answering in cheeky way instead of simple.

Maybe its his style and he likes to toy with media/fans/opposition. He has been saying that every year and he is still here.

That said, no one should question his character. He is amazing for Chelsea, loyal and only says positive stuff everytime.

If he leaves I cant blame him, not with the current board and direction we are heading. But I hope he stays.

Remember how he acted when he was leaving Lille and nobody knew where he would go? He definitely likes the attention, and if you do you can't answer like Kante.

What is it with Belgium players on international duty they love to talk to the Belgium media about their clubs

They just love to talk utter shite. Lukaku, De Bruyne, Hazard, Courtois... always seem to have something to say. I cant believe people actually think Madrid are going to try sign him over the likes of Neymar or Salah... I would swap Eden for both at the moment, I think he always seems to have an excellent season then a beyond average one right after.

He put in a slightly better performance than he has most of this year again but still I am struggling to see if he is actually interested in playing for Chelsea. He just looks disinterested a lot. I think hes off in the summer.

Can't deny his quality but watching how he has played in the last couple of weeks, if not months, I'm almost tempted to say good riddance when the Real Madrid move happens.

He should be more direct in attacking...Dribbling no where is not going to help.. I think he has regressed in terms of goal scoring and it is not helping us......Still we should keep him as long as he wants to stay here....Selling our world class players is not going to help us like we have seen in the past

Yeah, Hazard had nothing in him in the past number of games. Looks like he is not beginning to care.

If he cared about the shirt and club, he would have played 10 times as hard especially today when he knows about our history with scummy Spuds.

I suppose we can apply that to every other player. Hazard is supposed to be our best player and yet, he's been outshone by Kante, who's not as talented as him, in almost every aspect in all the recent big games.

Good riddance to the Chelsea Eden Hazard FC when that move happens.

I don't think he's played well since the Manchester City humiliation. How our manager humiliated him in that game. Anyway let's not get it twisted. Eden has helped us quite a lot in big games over his Chelsea career. He's in my view the best big game player we've ever had besides Didier.

Just last season Eden scored in virtually almost every big game he played in. He can't be the Messiah every time particularly when his club isn't given him the tools to work with.

We've all been screaming for our board to pair him with another top class attacking midfielder for years but to no avail. In truth Mata and probably Fabregas are the only players who've ever looked closed to his level on the ball and he's been able to interact with effortlessly on the pitch. We're just too fucking shit this season for even Hazard

It's strange you have so much disdain for one of our all time great players who has stuck with it in both good and bad times remained humbled on and off the pitch and never opened his mouth. Strange.

It's strange that whenever people criticize Hazard for his poor form or performance, the Eden Hazard FC fans will suddenly appear and spin the narrative to how fans should be grateful for having him or that things aren't his fault at all and it's always someone else's. Every. Fucking. Single. Time. Strange that.

What's going to suck even more than watching him leave is watching him go to a club that is loaded with other top quality players on his level and dominating. I have a feeling that we'll be seeing a lot of people saying "this is the real Hazard" once he's at a club like Real Madrid. We're going to see what we could've had ourselves if we showed any ambition at all as a club and surrounded him with quality rather than mediocrity.

I don't see how we can replace him. It certainly won't be with just one player. Add to that its a World Cup summer so any player who does well will be out of reach for our cheap ass board.

It's time for him to go. I love the guy to bits but I actually do believe it's in everyones best interest if he leaves the club. Maybe then Roman will realise you can't just surround a World Class player with a bunch of pretenders and expect to dominate World football. I will say though, it fucking hurts that the bunch of clowns Roman has hired to do a job can fuck up such a golden opportunity wiyh having Eden here.

Are City rumoures dead, cause you’re all talking about Madrid..

Attacking minded coach and HUGE investment in squad only thing that will keep him here i’m afraid

Hazard's 27 now and a player of his quality deserves to fight for the CL, and sadly we no longer have the conditions to provide that platform here. If Real Madrid come calling then he's gone and we can't blame him.
