Since being appointed Madrid boss in January 2016, Zidane has led Madrid to back-to-back Champions League titles as well as finishing top of La Liga last season, and Hazard said he would love to one day work with him.

"Everyone knows the respect I have for the man," the 26-year-old said. "For the player he was and for the coach he is, he was my idol. Of course I don't know what will happen in my career in the future, but to play under him would be a dream.

"At this time, though, I'm happy at Chelsea. I still have a lot of things to do at Chelsea, and I'm focused on Chelsea."

He's at it again. Getting really sick and tired of his constant flirtation with Real Madrid.

Each and every time our players go on international duty and speak with their country's media we get these quotes. Morata, Hazard, Courtois. Over and over again.

In Hazard's case, hasn't there been talk of us offering him a huge new contract for months now? What's the hold up? Give him 300k a week and end this Real Madrid talk once and for all.

Don’t see the huge rush regarding the new contract because I’m almost certain he signed a 5 and a half year deal back in February 2015? I think he’ll get one closer to the end of the season anyway same with Courtois and anybody else but honestly those guys in the last 18 months of their contracts should take first priority.

Once again, Hazard's moments of true world-class-level come when he's centrally on the pitch. Not necessarily starting the game there (which he should), but regardless how he gets there, being there unlocks him - and he unlocks the other team. It's not rocket science. Charging at slow midfielders & centre backs lets him rule. Whereas we insist on putting him against some of the fastest fullbacks in world football week in week out.

Every manager seems to consider Hazard too good to tinker with. They're wrong.

Mexico is really good. I'm surprised more English teams don't invest in their players. Very technical and fast side. Martinez's team still can't defend to save their lives albeit Belgium are missing a lot of starting XI defenders.
