Costa and himself open up the game so much for everyone else with their ability to draw multiple defenders, particularly Hazard with his knack for being able to take on 2 or 3 defenders with a great run. As great as Fabregas has been, I'm sure he'll tell you that he loves playing with Eden since he makes his job that much easier. Being able to thread a lot of these passes through defenses when they are already scrambling and out of position must be heaven for him. It's a joy watching them. A player like Hazard needs to have more influence on decisive games, he hasn't for most of the Champions league for me.But there are mitigating circumstances. PSG away first half he was our best player. PSG home he got injured 10 mins in. Didn't play Atletico away; played Atletico home half-fit. Season before, he was new to the team. We are feeling day by day his motivation to work hard and to improve. We have big hopes that he will go from top player to a higher level, as one of the best. Share Posted September 16, 2014 I loved watching Eden against Swansea because he actually looked very determined to "get the numbers," showing a great deal of ambition. I wonder if it's the effect of the new boys. He's no longer the "go to" guy and no longer the one getting the headlines. Some healthy competition should be very good for him. sutro 1,026 Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 he has everything needed to be one of the greatest of his generation like Mourinho said today.Its only a matter of his workrate in training sessions thats gonne make the difference.But based on his current shape and form and Mourino recent comments im convinced he's heading in the good direction.Arround this period last season Mourinho wasnt happy with him and tbf he was not playing well for quite some time and i dare to say he even looked fat.What a difference it is with this season, he looks sharp right away and even if the stats dont back it up he's having a good (great) start of the season.Its clear that Mou's magic is starting to work on him.If he keeps this up the sky is the limit and he trully will be one of the greatest of his generation.
