Share Posted September 19, 2014 Bale is not selfish, actually he is one of the best winger in the world because he is capable of doing what Hazard does, but also banging them in from 30 yards out.Yep it is fine by me too if he just reach 10 goals and have like 20 assists, all I am saying is I want to see over 20 goals/assists combined EVERY SINGLE SEASON from a player of his status. That is not a big ask at all, it is bare minimum for a player of his quality for me. I know but I mentioned a few pages ago, people like Iniesta/Zidane/Xavi don't have great stats but they are known as best in the world in their position because of the sparkle moment they have. Zidane volley CL final or Iniesta last min goal at Bridge in 2009/WC 10 final. I love Bale, but he's nowhere near as good technically or creative as Hazard is. Thing about Bale is is that he has that killer instinct, a great shooting technique and physique, but he isn't anything like Hazard at all. It's like comparing apples and oranges.And in case you missed it, Hazard has in both seasons here had over 20 goals/assists.... It's like comparing apples and oranges.And in case you missed it, Hazard has in both seasons here had over 20 goals/assists....Bale is so massively overrated by many. So often I've seen him put in poor performances and it's just overlooked. Like his performances against Atletico recently. He didn't have any space to exploit, didn't do a thing. Or he plays poorly yet scores, so all the focus ends up on the goals. Reminds of Rooney until a year or two ago. He used to receive similar protection, now he's criticized so often. It's funny because there was a time the majority considered Bale as very overrated and I would be among those saying he's a real talent.Bale is a fantastic player, mainly because of specific qualities, like the ones you mentioned. For example it doesn't matter if he scores 2 goals a match and be a passage for 60 mins. I want that from Hazard too even if it means he scarifies a bit of constantly making amazing runs only to have the move ended up wasted due to different reasons.For example I won't care if he doesn't bother to track back at all against West Ham if it means him scoring 2 goals.
