Spike 12,049
Actually only kids enjoy these type of things, because 90% of the time they are ineffective.A lot of crosses, through balls and shots are ineffective so I suppose they should be stopped too. Since only kids enjoy 'these type of things' I suppose players should stop using elasticos, step overs, rainbow heel flicks etc. KonohasOrangeFlash

KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Let's take Rami's logic further. Keepers should also stop trying to make saves, as they can't always prevent them from going in. Players should also stop running, as there's no guarantee it'll lead to anything. Players should also stop making passes, as of course, its not a guarantee they'll come off. Players should just stand there on the pitch and do nothing. In fact even that may be too much, as there is no guarantee that a lightning strike won't hit one of the players. So in that case, the whole sport should be scrapped. You see how illogical and farcical your comment was Rami? Kezza
TacticalBlues 2,817
Actually only kids enjoy these type of things, because 90% of the time they are ineffective.Disagree, depending on the circumstance I guess. With Hazard you have a player who tries them when it's a better option. Sometimes when you play football and you're turning the rabona gives the player who will be fed the ball an extra second advantage over a defender. Ok in this case it was impotent but Hazard deploys the skill really well unlike the Nani's of this world.Check this assist out, I remember it was in the dying seconds of the game (around 25 seconds). BOSS 372
Against Arsenal it wasn't the best option thats for sure.Dude Vermaelen would have won the tackle but when he stopped Vermaelen could not stop sliding and then he made a chance for himself thanks to the Rabona. manpe 10,861
Wow, so much over analyzing over one situation. Yes, maybe a low cross was the better option in hope for a lucky ricochet, but I for one am glad we finally have a player who is able to do something else than make hopeful low/high crosses with their eyes closed. Popular Post! Atholy 1,293 Posted October 5, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted October 5, 2012 Zidane Praises Hazard:http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xu33qy_eden-hazard-vu-par-zidane-canal_sportHe tells he has been a long time admirer of Eden."The first thing that came to my mind when I saw him play the 1st time was: he is different than all other players!I decided to follow him from close range because he brings something special to the game... even at this very young age""He's a player with a enormous personality on the pitch and always gives the fans something worth their ticket. He shows a lot of joy when playing and is the type of guy that brings people to the stadium. When I saw this already at a very young age... I was really really impressed!""The thing that maybe strikes me the most... is that he has the intelligence to let the other players around him play better. He is so talented that he can change the game with one of his actions/goals or assists BUT more importantly... when he feels he's not in the right position, when he cannot shoot well ... In that split second, his mind will tell him to play with the others and involve them in the action. And not only does he think about it... he also excecutes the great pass or link up play. This is pure football intelligence."If I watch football these days... I a lot of great players who's strength is to play on their own and to force something individually. What I really miss are these intelligent players, who are not only great themselves, but also make the other players around them play better. And it's not only me that says that, it's in general. Eden really stands out in this matter and that is the thing i like most about him! For me this is the most important force/power of Eden". "He made his choice to join Chelsea. And let's be honest... in his game, you cannot really tell he only arrived there a month ago. For me that all has to do with his personality. Eden is a guy that doesn't ask himself too many questions, you can link him in this matter with another great player Frank Ribery."Zidane ends the interview by telling that there are really very few players these days that are as good as Hazard AND that Eden can still go really far because of his young age. "I see him as a future Ballon d'or winner. And a lot has to do with his intelligence on the pitch". He said he would take Eden to Real Madrid with his eyes closed...I think he also got the Trophee 'young player of the year in France' from Zizou. meetdoscar 335
Eden and oscar are potentially ballon d'or winners depending on what they achieve with club and country. Who knows, chelsea might have just signed two future greats at a very young age. Could be fearsome playing against both eden and oscar at their very best in 2-3 years time(although they already are) oh and there will still be the small mata to contend with too.
