Stats 7,142
All depends really. Hazard hopefully will come back to London and be treated by the CFC staff who are some of the best around. 6-8 weeks is what Sky Sports HQ are reporting. Hopefully he gets the best treatment possible and maybe can be available for start of the season. Really gutting and has put a damp on the weekend however that would be best scenario and maybe is able to take part in community shield game against Arsenal so he builds up match sharpness before opening day of PL. Fingers crossed. Can only hope for best outcome. Chelsea? and Johnnyeye
Superblue 6,372
We can't grumble too much we did very well last season with injuries. If there's any positive it's that we've suffered a serious injury to a key player at the best time going into the summer. Hopefully he'll be back in training by the time the season starts, and get him back up to speed shortly afterwards. Someone needs to step up in his absence... Pizy 18,916
Maybe this expedites some deals for attacking players? Wait too long and we end up signing Papy Djilobodji's and Matt Miazga's near the deadline. Get a few in early so there's no panic as the seasons starting. The club can cater for this. There is plenty of fitness routines he can do on the road to recovery before he's capable of getting back on to a training pitch and the club will have him in every day intensely to do this just like other players. The biggest thing is match fitness, but with the sheer number of players in the club nowadays it's easy to arrange behind closed doors matches, reserve games, etc to get him up to speed quickly. Our medical department have proven over the last few seasons they are phenomenal, and I have every confidence they'll get Hazard back up to speed in a prompt and effective manner. Jase 43,479
international duty! Hope he's out for only less than 2 months. Any thing more and that's gonna be a major issue for us.
quickpassnmove 924
Just underscores the need for more scoring and quality across the CFC first team. Those transfers need to start happening soon or the Champions League season will be another underwhelming one for us, while the PL title will also likely slip away. Belgiannutt 3,201
According to HLN he's getting surgery today. I'm hoping for 2 months of recovery (or less ). Start of the season is 11 weeks awayΒ so he would still have 3 weeks of preseason.Β
Pizy 18,916
I'm seeing some places saying 6-8 weeks and others saying 3 months or more! Which is it? That's a pretty big discrepancy.Β
