We can't grumble too much we did very well last season with injuries.

If there's any positive it's that we've suffered a serious injury to a key player at the best time going into the summer. Hopefully he'll be back in training by the time the season starts, and get him back up to speed shortly afterwards.

Someone needs to step up in his absence...

The problem is that he will miss that intense fitness training in pre season, might take august to recover that.

The club can cater for this. There is plenty of fitness routines he can do on the road to recovery before he's capable of getting back on to a training pitch and the club will have him in every day intensely to do this just like other players.

The biggest thing is match fitness, but with the sheer number of players in the club nowadays it's easy to arrange behind closed doors matches, reserve games, etc to get him up to speed quickly.

Our medical department have proven over the last few seasons they are phenomenal, and I have every confidence they'll get Hazard back up to speed in a prompt and effective manner.

Just underscores the need for more scoring and quality across the CFC first team.

Those transfers need to start happening soon or the Champions League season will be another underwhelming one for us, while the PL title will also likely slip away.

I'm seeing some places saying 6-8 weeks and others saying 3 months or more! Which is it? That's a pretty big discrepancy.Β

It depends. If the bands in the hock are also torned, which happens quite often,Β it will last much longer.

Just seen the the fragment where the doctor talks to VTM.Β

He said on the scan there was minimal damage to the ligaments. No tear. Just a fracture and light strained ligaments.Β

No problems long term, should recover well. He said 3 months was a realistic estimate for recovery time.Β

Also said he's sure Hazard will be 100 % again. Able toΒ play matches by mid september.

We are Eden Hazard FC, aren't we?

Well we will have to add a lot of quality this Summer which seems to be unlikely at the moment...

This season if you took any player away from 1st team we didn't look like the same team. Even Moses orΒ Alonso...
