LDN Blue 7,903
Good player but that's a bit dumb from Chelsea to get rid of De Bruyne then get Thorgan.I think the problem regarding De Bruyne was lack of patience. Clearly he wasn't willing to wait around for his opportunity.. I guess that's up to him and it has worked out. Though I'm sure when he looks at our deficiencies on the right-wing he may think "what if.." Tchekitchek, Stingray and yuvala
Tomo 21,751
Arsenal game probably the biggest example. Just thought about that after watching them vs City.We were equally struggling to break them down until Hazard did that, we could have dropped points too without that moment. Costa deserves credit for drawing out one of the defenders meaning Koscielny was isolated.
Moros 86
Good player but that's a bit dumb from Chelsea to get rid of De Bruyne then get Thorgan. There's quite a gap between them, when we look at both player's current ability though. Thorgan will need at least one more season in Germany or a different club and regular playing time before he can be even a substitute player.I think the problem regarding De Bruyne was lack of patience. Clearly he wasn't willing to wait around for his opportunity.. I guess that's up to him and it has worked out. Though I'm sure when he looks at our deficiencies on the right-wing he may think "what if.."Yeah Well De Bruyne was one of the most important players in the national team and he wanted to play and impress at the World Cup, not playing was seriously risking his chances to play and the quality of his performances. Wilmots, the national coach regulary warned his players about this and has likely played quite a bit of role in KDB's transfer request. Unsure if they'll progress. I'd like to think if it was this year then he would've stayed and fought.

That would have left him competing with Fabregas in stead of Willian and Schurrle, since I think he loves playing in the center of the team. And an amazing alternative at that. The problem with De Bruyne was that he was vastly underrated, by Mourinho, by everyone and even by me... when he was announced at Chelsea I thought he would never make it... I was massively wrong. I'm sure Mourinho has regrets.

MrBlueGuy 1,552
If we sign Cuadrado he finally got someone he can shares the burden of dribbling with hope it gives him more freedom to score more goals. kellzfresh
Popular Post! manpe 10,861 Posted January 22, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted January 22, 2015 Does anybody else not understand why it's become common knowledge that Hazard doesn't do defending? People say Willian is the workhorse and best defender since Maldini, but from what I've gathered Hazard is not a shy defender himself. You often see him dropping back deep, helping out the fullback, collecting the ball from around his own box and dragging it out. You even see him chasing, sprinting, closing down, pumping, nudging, intercepting, tackling. He may not be as good a defender as his counterpart, but to neglect his defensive contribution and effort is also not nice mkay? I am actually proud of him for coming as far in his development as maintaining his attacking threat while also tending to the team's needs effectively, something Mata wasn't able to do. mediator, DYC., Madmax and 11 others
LukakutoStamford 779
Hazard is actually a decent to pretty good defender the problem is that Mou has him stay up the field.

LukakutoStamford 779
Lol Bayern c'mon son only move he'd make would be to RM and I don't think that's going to happen because the PL will continue to widen the gap in terms of popularity versus all other leagues. Plus in the future we will see multiple PL clubs surpass RM in value. bababoom and iceboy
