Really couldn't care if we get him or not, at this point, I'd just like all our transfers done and dusted by pre-season so the new player has a few weeks with all the squad to get some synergy/friendships going rather than leaving our business until really late or until when the season starts as per usual leaving zero time for the new player to get embedded in the team before the papers start slamming their sub-par performances for no good reason

In this regard the Hulk deal won't be as important to tie up early because the player is likely to be playing in the Olympics anyway (not sure if this has been confirmed yet). In fact our squad could be ravaged by the stupid fucking Olympics.

Strurridge looks certain to go and is actually our player I'm most interested in seeing as he's likely to play central striker. It will only be a handful of games, so it will be hard to judge either way, but will still be interesting to see.

The overage in the GB squad is bellamy, giggs and beckham apparently.

Its only with GB, mata has been given clearance by chelsea to play in the olympics, as has david luiz.

Guys anyone know if Hulk is playing great britain at the Olympics?, i hope he is because i'm going to it at the Riverside, got a ticket for 10 pound, i know Ryan Giggs, Beckham and Bellamy are confirmed for Britain.

But Brazil i don't know, appearently Ronaldinho is meant to be playing, really hope so always been one of my favourite footballers that one, be nice to see him at a game.

Skysports news confirmed what we thought. Hulk has expressed his desire to go to Chelsea, and whilst there may be other offers chelsea is the club he wants to be at...

Which is good news, though doesn't mean its going to happen if porto etc keep dragging thier heels.
