I always say that if Luiz has to be our most defensive midfielder he won't perform. Matic makes him look good.

He did alright in the first half but I wasn't as impressed with him as some were on here tbh.

Right now he's looking like a shell of his former self, which is a real shame.

Real shame how he's regressed as a player this year, but I guess that's what happens when the manager's philosophy doesn't suit your style of play.

About Luiz bashing, for me the story is pretty clear. JT scores an own goal against Palace, not a single word in the press about his own goal.

Luiz scores an own goal against PSG, he is the villain. Some papers are even saying the 1st goal was his fault because he lost the ball possession, even if Terry assisted (using Mourinho words) Lavezzi in that goal.

Luiz played well last night. He did give the ball away for the first goal, however we had a few chances to clear it and didn't. And he could do nothing about the second goal, although it was a silly free kick to give away I think matuidi played for it. People seem to be letting the medias vendetta against him effect their judgement. Even gary Neville said he was our best player in the first half. At least he doesn't hide when we're playing bad, unlike some of our players. Terry, cech and lampard were at fault for the goals which nobody seems to talk about.
