I've stated this numerous times in the past: David can best influence our attack when he plays at CB where he can have much more time and space to pick passes out and where he can make a bigger difference when makes a forward run and gives us an extra man in midfield.

Haha. Fullbacks are the players that play on either the right or the left of the defense like Marcelo and Dani Alves. Center backs are just as the name implies.

you mean aside from the spectacular goals and assists from a player playing completely out of position and on CB training schedule (no focus on stamina, midfield movement, etc). Or our absolutely fantastic win ratio while he played in the midfield?!

In my view, and apparently several articles out there, as an experiment it was a rotund success! Whether it should be pursued or not depends on a number of different factors though.

It was no way a success. He played in the midflied mostly agaisnt shittty teams, flopped hard against benfica and any decent opposition.
