MrExcalibur100 7,124
The only thing I didn't like about his performance against Middlesborough was the amount of hopeful long balls he played in the opening mins of the match, most of which gifted them the ball. Cahill was guilty of this as well. It kind of set the tone for our sluggish start and there was no need for that. Conte alluded to it in his post-match interview with Chelsea TV. One of the staples of Conte's philosophy is to start the match very strongly, on the front foot offensively, with the intention to win it from the opening whistle. The long balls went against what we've been doing in the last 6 games. Obviously, the disruption the internationals caused to our momentum had something to do with it and the weather conditions probably. But it's something I hope not to see again. We have a philosophy we are trying to develop and we should stick to it. Supermonkey92 and kellzfresh

Popular Post! Special Juan 28,141 Posted November 22, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted November 22, 2016 I spoke to him at the hotel and he speaks like a true fan, just the small things he says is brilliant. As we walked away and went to the car he shouts "Come on Blues" across the car park...He cares, not only does he care but he has come back a much mature and intelligent footballer. Captain Ahmed 528
Scoop by me,David felt sad to have left Chelsea. His non-verbal proved to me this fact during his stay in Canada.Only when I give him a high five he pulled out a nice smile

OneMoSalah 8,886
Few times against Spurs he looked like the Luiz we all knew from before. The goal we conceded was poor in more than one way to be honest but he sold himself and a few times he looked slightly distracted and was diving in for tackles he would never win (his booking for example) but he turned it around second half and his passing at times is brilliant, can take 3 or 4 players out the game at once, think his time at Paris along with Conte coaching him has had a good effect on him (also were seeing it with a few other players) , he's more mature now and hopefully he can keep getting better. Popular Post! DYC. 7,542 Posted December 3, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted December 3, 2016 That was up there with the Everton performance. But this was even better because this was away vs City and Azpilicueta and Cahill were both far from great. 16/17 is turning out to be a huge middle finger to the world from David. He's finally tapping into that potential he always had. One of those times a panic buy turns out good.
