One thing that I don't think has been brought up yet - is there any power that the CPO have to prevent Chelsea playing at Stamford Bridge in this format?

I would assume not and that the club have already ensured they're covered with this but would be interesting to know for sure.

Would be a wild scenario if the CPO and club's fans pulled away from the club and retained a version of Chelsea to remain in the Premier League that was fan owned.

There was just this one tweet...

I don't know...find a compromise somewhere?

What you said is just not ideal and it's also not fair on us fans!

Its not fair on the fans but its not fair on everybody else at other clubs so whatever the circumstances of the clubs actions are we just have to take it on the chin.

I hope for the good of the game that UEFA, FIFA, the FA don’t compromise hugely or at all though. Its only fair on the countless other teams and fans all around the globe.

Once they start compromising to these clubs when will they stop?

Easy to say we should take it on the chin when there's so much at stake here for the players and fans...

And there's no guarantee that the Super League will even happen considering the amount of opposition it has garnered ever since the news broke.

If anything, I hope the players join forces to fight against this. Owners can't just discard them if the players stand up and fight for it.

That's it. No manager or player has said yayyyy this is a fab idea. The general vibe seems to be wtf. Maybe they didn't expect that backlash..or generally don't care but its gone very sour very quickly. Soooo hopefully..this ends up being one of those stupid thought up moments.

''There's huge arrogance of the people leading these clubs, a huge arrogance that they are by far bigger and better than everyone else and should be guaranteed to play each other every year but this game shows you have to go out and prove you're the best.

These people that think they are guaranteed the positions and should have it because of their history, it's a very arrogant position - Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest have won more European titles than some of these clubs''

They also think they have a captive audience which will continue to watch no matter what.

Well, they should take a look across the pond and see how Americans have turned away in their droves from watching their major sports on tv over the last year.

roman needs to pull out

and they need to give him his fucking residence visa so we can build the new stadium

Citeh will join us

PSG, Dortmund and Bayern already have

I think Inter and Ac Milan might then drop

maybe spuds and Atleti

that leaves the chief ratfuckers

the 3 yank owners (arse, pool, manure)

Barca and RM

and Juve with the Agnellis

and notice (minus Arse)

who remains

5 of the original 6 shitbag clubs who rammed through FFP

RM, Barca, Manure, Pool, Juve (only Bayern is not left)

plus JP Morgan, the moneybags behind it

and Florentino Perez, the power mad fuckstick who has been pushing this for ages)

While I don't want this to happen the sheer level of hypocrisy is mindblowing.

Neville has worked on Sky for a decade and been defending Man.United's owners for even longer, he's complicit in this not a victim.

Fair play to Bamford.

One of the biggest issues in this is that UEFA are being portrayed as the good guys which couldn't be further from the truth. They are culpable in their own right for this debacle through the years of their own greed, corruption and lack of morality.

Yesterday when this was coming out, I was at least open to the ideas and the main reason would have been the potential to break the monopoly that UEFA hold over European football.

Now I'm leaning the other way. I wouldn't be necessarily against a breakaway league of some form because I think in time it would potentially bring in more clubs and grow independent of UEFA who have done so little to hold faith in. However, the closed shop setup is farcical and like others, I'd be quite frankly pissed off missing out on potentially winning the FA Cup and Champions League this season if we were excluded from them. More so for the players and Tuchel who have earned these chances from hard work and from the looks of things are being thrown under the bus.

And how the fcuk does a club who haven't won the English league since the days when The Beatles were playing the Cavern Club, qualify for this so called Super League?
