No. There was an article recently that showed how it worked. England like 5 points ahead of Italy. Or something. They can't catch up, even if an Italian club win the CL and EL.

I wasn't happy but I was by no means embarrassed, we were twice a few minutes away from going through.

The majority of Arsenal fans I'm seeing right now are very far from proud. They remember that the reason that 2-0 away was not enough is that they got humiliated 3-1 at home to one of the worst remaining teams in the CL.

I mean, they got undone a few times, but they created a shit load of chances in that first leg which they(Giroud in particular) didnt take. I don't think it was worse than the shit show we put up against a 10 man paris at home.

It matters in the discussion about the suggestion that was being made that we should feel more ashamed about our exit from the CL than Arsenal.

Of course eventually it all means f*** all as we're both out of the competition. But people are acting like we should change the name of the club and move to another league because we went out on goal difference against a really good side while Arsenal are being portrayed as unlucky champions even though they got destroyed at home by a side, theoretically, much worse than themselves.
