But that only works because Neuer this year had incredible luck. Usually he has 2 or 3 mega blunders that cost a goal per season because of his advantageous style of play.

Judging GKs purely on clean sheets. I'll be the first to say that Neuer looks like the type of man that would have graduated from the Hitler Youth into the Schutzstaffel but he is hands down the best GK in the past several years.

i said to my wife he does look like the prototype Hitler youth ,, In our penalty shoot out against them he was Arrogance

personified .. It just made our win 10000% better ,, He is a great keeper however but in 5 years I believe Courtois will be as good

Haha, what a coincidence. I thought the exact same thing to myself. I remember it very clearly. I was so sick with the common cold I was wrapped in several layers of blankets. The cold winter sun almost blocked the TV with glare but I could still make out the absolute arrogance of his body language. I love Tibo (see: Profile pic & Sig) probably a bit too much at times.

But no way is he as good as Neuer. Neuer is better in every facet of the game bar coming out for crosses. Give Tibo 2 more years at the top level and we'll see then. But ATM Neuer is the best GK in the world.

And I'm glad to see Neuer nominated, it would have been a travesty if someone from a team that won the WC so convincingly wasn't nominated. I personally would have chosen Muller, but i'm not upset with Neuer either, he'd have been my next choice.

Ronaldo will win it all day though (as he deserves to).

I think he's vastly improved his concentration level and decision making. His reflexes are top notch and his athleticism is outstanding for a keeper. Very well deserved. I'd say Thibaut is just as good in goal and is much younger but its what Neuer offers overall that makes him such a valuable player. He is probably gonna go down in history as the most complete GK ever.

Tibo is like 7? years younger than Neuer. Atm Neuer is better but where was he at 22? Nowehere near Courtois level. If Tibo continues to rise, he will be better than Neuer and probably any other Gk too. But thats if he improves further.

His versatility, consistency, and role for Bayern and Germany out weigh Ronaldo's goal scoring record, in which he only has that to rely on considering he was missing in both finals of Copa Del Rey and CL, not to mention was a mere whisper in the WC.

I wouldn't be upset with Lahm either. Rate the guy extremely highly. For me personally I think Muller and Neuer have been better this year but if you're talking about consistency over the last 5+ years then Lahm is easily one of the best in the world.

I wouldn't agree he's better than Ronaldo, but that's all opinion as they're completely different types of player.

IF we don't win the CL then I would want Dortmund to win it because of their poor domestic season. Klopp's team deserves to play in Europe next year.

Honestly if we do not win the CL, I'd want an uncommon team to win the CL that hasn't won it in the last 10 years, I wouldn't mind Dortmund, PSG, Atletico, Juventus to win it this year if we somehow fail to. I'm sick and tired of seeing the same old Barcelona, Madrid, Munich always winning the CL, it sort of makes the whole thing predictable.
