The board were too comfortable just qualifying for the CL and their lack of ambition means that the eventual transition will be much harder than it would have been a few years ago. I think arsenal problem is in the transfer market. Not really sure who is responsible for it. They keep trying to sign cheaper player without ever signing big time player. Arsenal was lucky that henry, viera , etc became such super player.
