I despise CR7 and don't care much for Barca as a club, but I suppose I'm all in on one of Juve or Barca to win it all.

Probably say Juve have the best overall shot because they can turn up and defend like masters in a big game. Definitely think one of City and Liverpool make the final and you need to be able to contain their attacks. I don't trust Barca to be able to do that.

I hate them, but Barca will CRUSH Pool if they meet

Umtiti will be back

everyone building up bayern as if they were still a force. The truth is Liverpool were comfortable throughout the whole fixture and the result is narrower than it appear. I never had doubted that the Bauern would go out vs liverpool and called it as soon as the fixture was drawn. Bayern are back in Euroepan mediocrity which is exactly where they belong.

How much you wanna bet United get the easiest possible draw in Ajax (no disrespect to them) and the Solsjkaer love-in continues when they beat them?

United will draw Ajax and City will draw Porto who they will easily blow away.

Ajax is NOT a 'blow away' team

have you watched them play?

IF (they are already being torn apart, with de Jong and soon de Ligt leaving) they could have stayed together and added a few key players

they could be easily one of the best teams in the world in a couple years

What we can learn from liverpool is that the key to modern football is speed. Quick legs, quick feet on the ball and a quick mind. Most of our players have none and our manager needed 7 months to realize Alonso is shit.

Ajax certainly isn't the easiest draw. I'd say Porto and Spurs right now are below them.

Ajax will beat United. In fact, I'd say that Porto, Spurs and United would be the top3 best draws for Ajax. Allegri's Juve would also be in trouble with Ajax if they didn't have that one lad named Ronaldo up front

my all speed team (based off what we have)

GK Kepa

CB Éder Militão or Manuel Akanji

CB Rudiger

LB Alex Telles or Ferland Mendy or Junior Firpo

RB Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Achraf Hakimi

DMF Thomas Partey or Diadie Samassékou or Denis Zakaria or Amadou Diawara

CMF Kante

AMF Kai Havertz or Julian Draxler or Talisca

LW Hirving Lozano or Ismaïla Sarr

RW Nicolas Pepe or Leon Bailey

CF Timo Werner

that would be the paciest team on the planet

So true.

We got away with for a couple of seasons, when Pedro and Willian were still at their best fitness levels. Willian's dribbling pace couple of seasons ago was electric. He could easily take the ball from a congested midfield and make it to the final third.

Now we hardly have anyone with that ability. Only Hazard and Kante in midfield, and maybe CHO from the bench.

To top it off, both our CF's, Giroud and Higuain, can hover around the box, but can't be expected to break at speed.

Let the english media wankfest continue, if you look at the bigger picture, this only helps the english uefa coeficcient, and also that england is getting their pride back, be it in the last World Cup reaching the semis after so many years and english teams reaching the latter stages of champions league. When was the last time 4 english teams were in the quarter finals? thats right 08/09 season (Arse, us, United and Pool), correct me if im wrong, and who won it that year? thats right, Barca, altough at our cost in the process, (fuck you Ovrebo you cunt :middlefinger:). I hope of course that one of Barca or Juve wins it, can you imagine the endless wankfest if one of the Mancs, Pool or Spurs clinches it? Pls God nooo...
