New Chelsea Manager

Why?

I don't see how Moyes is any better than AVB. Not one single aspect except youth development, but that's a whole lot easier at a club with limited resources.

Rafa on the other hand is a CL winner, 2 time la liga winner, and a pretty good tactician. Give him the money and i'm very sure he'd do well here.

Moyes is seen as a real handful in the dressing room.. if you're underachieving during a match, he will let you know about it.. it's that sort of thing we've lacked with past managers!

Are you forgetting who Rafa Benitez is? He's the man who tried to replace Xabi Alonso with Gareth Barry.

David Moyes' man management is fantastic, he's very good at getting the best out of players because he won't take sh't from anyone. What he's done with Everton, a side with the smallest squad in he league, is unbelievable! He even got them CL qualification in 2005. He needs to be given his chance in the big leagues because he has the ability to lead a top side. Why not gamble? Moyes will be much cheaper too and he knows the league inside-out.

 yes, but at the end of the day many managers make stupid decisions, especially when it comes to transfers.

This is two completely different cases. It's one thing to be managing Tim Cahill, Phil Neville, Baines and co, then another to manage John Terry, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and Drogba.

I remember people posting articles about players from Academica and Porto talking about how great AVB's man management skils were, but he did nothing but fail terribly here.

I admit moyes has done a amazing job at everton especially considering they absolutely have no transfer money at all. He is one of my favorite managers but i dont think he could handle chelsea

also i think Mourinho would b awesome to come back, but I dont know if we will get him. I could see it being drawn out till like transfer day then we would sign no one. probably not but i wouldnt be surprised. I would like Wilkins back or at least a assistant coach that knows wtf he is doing.

if benitez comes to chelsea i will be severely dissapointed, hes a liverpool man, red and blue dont mix

If Rom can deal with Mourinho having complete control and turning Chelsea into their true potentional, then he better start putting his big boy pants on and dealing with it, bc Mourinho would turn us around and keep us at top for years to come. Or until we won champions league then set up off like he did with inter

Mourinho and Pep ... you're having a laugh. Why would either of them even contemplate taking on this job where you have the owner's minions keeping an eye on you all the time, where the players have a direct line to those minions and are indulged freely by the owner and where you are under immediate pressure to get results and play good football, all the while trying to maintain an existence in this toxic work environment. They have both built up too much of a legacy to wilfuly destroy it by succumbing to the charms of this poisoned chalice. We had the right man for the job, someone who was fresh and ready to really make a name for himself ... and we let him go.

...........................................................................................................................................................................................................

I don't know if Louis Van Gaal is available (he was in a battle for a place on Ajax's board a while back after Bayern sacked him) but he would be a good choice. Innovative, combative, pedigreed ... the guy has it all.

It will be Rafa or Capello. If not them then someone worse, would be surprised if we get anyone better than those two.

Moyes can get away with it once he ships the so called legends out. Has he got it in him tactically, though?

This is what i'd like to know also. I personally don't think so.

Getting these cancerous players out is the most important thing.

Once that is done, the new manager - whoever he is - can come in and start a proper rebuilding process and not have to encounter any problems in that sense.

The majority of our talented and younger players are still alright. The likes of Luiz, Ivanovic, Cahill, Ramires, Mata, Sturridge and Torres probably were not involved in any of the behind the scenes shit. And these are also the players that we want to keep as our spine (possibly with the exception of Torres lol) so that's a positive thing.

As long as one of the troublemakers remains, we will not be able to move on.

I'd sooner see Claudio Ranieri come back than Mourinho. We need to go forward, not backwards. Bringing back Mourinho would hinder our progress unbelievably. He has had his part to play in this downward spiral we have been on.

We need to wait until the summer for an appointment and have a huge overhaul. Up to 10 players need to go. We have to get a message out that we aren't taking bullshit off any players.

Also some of the fans should be embarrassed demanding Mourinho. You're just as bad as Scousers living in the past. Get a fucking grip and get your head out the clouds. If Mourinho returns it will not be the fairytale you think it will be. He would stay no longer than 2 years.

Why not give it to Drogba or Lampard?

Drogba wouldn't be an awful choice, he virtually managed the team from the bench during the latter months of Carlo's reign. He has a massive personality and brings his will to bear through sheer determination, and has the unrelenting respect and liking of the squad. But I'm not convinced as to his tactical and coaching abilities, although he seems to be a fine motivator and leader. Lampard is a bit of an unproven in both departments.

In any case the board would have to be raving mad to give the job to either of them.

Sometimes you need to take a step back to go two steps forward. If not Mou then who? Guardiola? Yeah because he's going to trade Messi for Kalou, and teach Malouda how to one touch pass and actually giving a fuck on the pitch. Jose is clearly the obvious choice here.

Mourinho would absolutely corrupt the club and leave us in tatters once again and we would once again need to go running back to him to "go two steps forward" again. He is the absolute wrong choice.

Who should take over? I don't quite rightly know. Wouldn't be upset with Moyes. He is a manager that gets the best out of mediocre players with a limited amount of money. He wouldn't take shit from anyone either.

I don't know much about Biesa, but he seems to be doing well.

I'd rather see us go for a manager that is making something of a club that perhaps shouldn't be where they are in the table. Not a big manager that would cost millions. A managers qualities shouldn't be assessed on the size of his trophy cabinet, but rather on how much they have improved a club.
