BlueLyon 9,359
Coming back strong from an injury is something I've had to do all my life and I'll do it again. Thats the spirit Ruben Johnnyeye, Laylabelle, bigbluewillie and 1 other
Superblue 6,372
Matt Law reporting RLC has agreed a new 5 year contract and Chelsea are planning on CHO and James to sign similar length contracts shortly. Hugely positive for both club and player. If he can come back from this injury he has the potential to become THE dominant midfielder in the premier league with his mix of power, pace and skill, not to mention a vital goal threat from deep. Tomo 21,751
It's a risk given his injury but if anyone deserves such a chance being taken on them it's him given how patiently he waited to play regularly in the first place. robsblubot and Fernando

Reckon that even if the injury lowers his ceiling a bit (hope it won’t), he would still be a good player. Just too good on the ball not not deliver. We’ve had worse squad players... We really need him back as soon as possible He went for his first pool run 3 weeks ago, it would be a miracle if he was back before November/December or so. They first said he was possibly out 12 months, and that was in May, but that has been revised. killer1257
Magic Lamps 11,692
Usually for Achilles it is 3-6 months. But we shouldn't rush it. He has been able to work out already in June tho and from there it is easier. The hard part is learning to run again but when you can support weight again it will come quickly. Also luckily it was his left foot so he wont lose his technique in his right.he might take a while to get his pace back. On the bright side he has enough time to fix his back issues and will probably come back an absolute tank if he also trains his upper body correspondingly.
