I doubt Essien is there. AVB gave him a rather fair treatment and counted on him a lot even when he was months away from recovery. He is a great guy also.

I don't think ANYONE is in there..I think Lampard is a bit peeved with AVB and that's about it...

Why can't the window still be open ffs!

Give him some credit mate, at least he was trying. More than I can say for the likes of Meireiles.

Fair enough, can't fault him for effort as he chased the ball all over the place and got in a collision with 2 different Napoli players

The problem is, that's more or less like a Torres performance. I can't even remember if he had an attempt on goal?

Not as such, I'm sure he went shot less. That's not entirely his fault though, many of the others were too happy to take potshots from distance.

Can't believe some people are saying Drogba was dissapointing, i thought he was class and did well to get involved, 2nd half he was pretty poor and lost the ball a few times but he got back in it at the end, he held the ball up and was always a part of our best attacks, he almost kept the ball down when Malouda long balled it to him, it was good defending from the Napoli defender to pressure him as much as he could so it stopped drogs from controling it.

And Ivanovic didn't have a bad game at all, he was class untill the cavani moment, Lavezzi couldn't get past him on the flank he made 3 good challenges on him, quality. But then eversince the Cavani mistake Gary Neville pointed it out too, that he lost confidence and he was quite shaky after that, also with the other defenders being morons it was quite hard for him, i still think he had a good game just like Drogba did.

I was pleased with Drogba, he must help us this season.

AND WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME WE WON A GAME???, ANYONE???, i actually cannot remember at all...

Chelsea have some legends playing right now.

Unfortunately, they don't necessarily deserve the playing time they've received in the past. Andre Villas-Boas seems to understand that, but he hasn't communicated that well with the players.

Consequently, there has been some unrest in the locker room, and there are stories of players trying to undermine AVB. Whether those stories are true or not is unimportant. The important part is how the club is responding.

Villas-Boas has seemingly let the players run the team this year, and it hasn't worked out well. After a full year, it will be clear that he's in charge. He will find roles for the active legends, and they will (hopefully) accept their roles.

Once they do, Chelsea will be able to move into the future without disrespecting the past.

Welcome your english is fine, the only error you made there was 'here who bets football match' instead it should of been 'who here bets on football matches?', but the main thing is we knew what you meant just letting you know, i can't even speak italian at all so at least you can speak another language.

And yes i was not blaming AVB, the thing we lacked in that match was quality from the players, but what do you expect from players like Malouda, Meireles and perhaps Ramires (but he's getting better). Hamsik shocked me that match, i was terryfied of him and i only seen him once on the pitch, Lavezzi and Cavani as i expected where quality, well we were never going to win anyway to be honest, at least we didn't get domianted like 4-0 or something like Arsenal, and really can't see us winning 2-0 at home lmao, can't even see us winning nevermind 2 goals and a cleansheet.

Thanks for welcome.. Hamsik does the "dirty" job, Cavani and Lavezzi are fantastic, Gargano it's unbelievable, run also after the game..

Malouda it's a top player.. no? imho you had save money spent for Torres, Are you saturday in Bolton?

Malouda used to be a top player, he lost it last season, he hasn't played well for 2 seasons now, we only played him because we have no midfielders, Lampard isn't playing well he's getting old, so it's a shame. Indeed we spent a lot on Torres but it shouldn't stop us from buying some new players, we need to sort the team out because there's no quality, our midfield is terrible also and we don't have a proper winger. Yes we are Saturday against Bolton, we havent won one game in about 6 matches, can't see us getting anything out of the game unfortuantely, probably just going to be another draw.

Napoli's potential defensive tactics... Napoli1.jpg

Uhm...ideed...when Neaples plays with Dossena, Inler remains in midfield and cannavaro helps to take together Mata and Sturridge...Instead, when Zuniga plays in place of Dossena, your schema is correct, but Cannavaro and Campagnaro take El Ninho...
