For some reason he did not cut it with us. I saw him bossed hy Swindon players, and even Marin looked better at the time. Jose wanted him to stay according to Belgian journalists....

I don't get why we have to repeat the same thing over and over again.
Yes, De Bruyne is class, but why isn't there a big discussion going on in the Mata/Schurrle/and so on threads on praising the sellings?
People really like to stick it to some people, only focusing on the negatives, going to bed. Too predictable...:)

Because Mata and Schurrle aren't world class level, KDB is the best player for City this season and brought them too the semi-finals of the CL.

So people who saw his ridiculous talent years before he even played a game for Chelsea can't say I told you so?

Jog on mate [emoji4]

This guy could have been our nr10 for years, if not for that idiot Mourinho

If Kevin does something nice, all hell breaks lose in here, a bad game or Chelsea win doesn't get that much attention. It's like some people are waiting and perhaps even 'hoping' for it to happen.

Kevin here, Kevin there, do you hear United fans crying and insulting their legend Ferguson because of Pogba?

I don't think so!

I was a called a moaner, maybe they're right, but the case Kevin de Bruyne isn't doing them any favours.

Maybe you predicted this outcome, congrats, but this schadenfreude is something else.

Mata was twice Chelsea player of the year, Fa Cup, Champions-League and Euro-League winner.

Is it over the top to say that Payet this days and Mata 2012/2013 are on a similar level?

Mata had the better numbers, isn't that what worldclass is all about?

Mata outshined even David Silva back in the day.

Letting him go and collecting the big bucks wasn't bad, was it?!

Currently De Bruyne is cutting it for City, yes, it seems like a good deal.

But is it really necessary to go gung-ho because he left?

It's on one man and one man only, but what about the board?

They make the contracts, didn't want to put in a clause to buy him back, good ol' Jose must have been reason for it. [emoji4]

Two of the best legs in football for crosses and shots this generation and it wasn't clear to you years ago?

For some reason, the media (including Jose himself) has always said that Jose didnt wanted a X player to leave but we still have the likes of Bruyne, Mata, Cech, Schrulle, Lukaku, Filipe Luís, Lampard, Cuadrado, Salah all leave under his tenure ... (I know we all have different opinions on the reasons why they left but they are doing decently well) ...

However with all this quote that Jose says about how he wanted a player to stay remains me of Wenger who keeps saying how they scouted pretty much  ALL the world class players in football and yet didnt sign any ... :P

If it were only so simple in football. [emoji4]

Yes, the boy can play but his attitude is questionable, read what Allofs said about him.

He needed time to develop, wasn't the player he is now from the beginning.

But his mouth was as big as it is today.

Difficult for a team with at that time skillwise similar players.

Yes we screwed up, just like United did with Pogba and Stam, just like Barca did with Thiago Alcantara, it's very annoying but time to move on.

On a second note I'm strongly considering a sabbatical if he nets next week.

We've officially become the number one fan club of Kevin de Bruyne.

And yes, if Kevin scores again - especially in the UCL, some people will completely lose it, Mourinho, de Bruyne and UCL thread immediately popped up yesterday, Lukaku's thread has gone silent, mhh. [emoji2]

not the worst idea to take a small break.

Weather is getting better and better. [emoji8]

Just like Wenger and the whole world Kiwi.

Guess what, we could have signed Messi as a teenager but the ghost of Jose intervened.

Ups!... he did it again.

Oh grow up.

It was widely reported in the media that Chelsea turned down the option to sign Alli. Your Blind loyalty to Jose even after he has seriously damaged the club is pathetic.

Pure speculation, the media must write something to survive, for most of the time they have been proven wrong Kiwie.

Maybe just maybe we wanted to trust one of our own, or you were right and stupid ol' Jose has gotten no clue, we'll never know. [emoji4]

There's nothing wrong with appreciating a good footballer, but i keep wondering where i can find the Suarez, Neymar, Messi, Busquets, Alves, Ronaldo, Bale, Modric, Neuer, Lewandowski and so it continues appreciation threads so we all can participate in a proper wankfest.

It's only the Kevin de Bruyne thread whose popping up again and again.

Mhh [emoji4]

A little bit harsh to blame it is manager's fault that the player he sold in the past, turns out to be a well developed player for another club in the future, no? There are a lot of factors involved.

It happens all the time to every manager in the world. Carlo did with Matic for example. But oh wait, this season Matic is sh*t, so that suddenly it makes Carlo genius now? Next time KDB having one sh*t season, it will makes Jose genius, no?

You just can't judge it as simple as that.

For KDB case, it seems there are some reason that we don't know for sure what it is, that make things more complicated, so that Jose finally decided to sell him, as the best option that day. Only Jose and the board knows what it was.

how is matic similar? KDB was killing it in Germany and during our first game. Matic was a nothing player when we traded him.

Okay, yes KDB is a fantastic player and we stupidly let him go, but in the next year or two another player will come along who is just as good, if not better who we may sign, then we will forget all about de bruyne. We may have a player like that in musonda, or a youngster out on loan or going to sign up to the youth system in near future. Anyway, what I am trying to say is he's one player and there will always be another player of similar qualities come through and hopefully do what kevin is doing, for us. No point crying over spilt milk; he is not at our club any more so let's move on.

Still don't know why he was completely dropped after the Man United game. He wasn't even on the bench for the Supercup game against Bayern when Lukaku and Essien made the cut.

It's one big farce but the problem is and it's something I said all along, that even if we had Neymar, Messi, Bale, Reus, Hazard, Douglas Costa combo then with lack of inuries 2 of them would be completely omitted by Mourinho. We had way less quality than that but Schurrle, Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Willian and KdB is still 6 AMs and still 2 too much. Wouldn't it be shown more glaring last year when we won the title with basically 3+1 AMs, the one coming from the bench (Salah, Schurrle or Cuadrado), so you have the idea that regarless the attitudes, form etc. 6 AMs we had in 2013/14 was too much for Jose and 2 of them left the very next transfer window (KdB and Mata).

But still I cannot stop the smile when I remember those tweets after KdB left  "look on Mata, he fights" - Mata's gone withing a week, "look at Schurrle" - Schurrle gone within the year, "we bought Matic for KdB money" - now the same people want to get rid of him ASAP, "look at Oscar" - now everyone want to get rid of him ASAP.

:)

It's absolute true but then you have people bashing Emenalo who bought world-class player for 9m€. Mourinho already tried to repress Musonda in the summer and he could have very well leave if Mou was still here. Yes, we have Boga and Musonda, 2 players of similar potential to KdB but we have to stop doing stupid thing again.
