City have their very dodgy UAE deals aswell, which ffp somehow allow. It's all a big joke.

This is what I don't get. If that is allowed then why doesn't Roman just get his company or Gazprom to sponsor Stamford Bridge for £500m like City and PSG do? Or get a bunch of Russian companies to sponsor our training field. How about a company gives us £50m per year to be our official touchline paint sponsor?

That's basically what City are doing.

As has always seemed to be the case we've tried to play it "fair and clean" with all this ffp stuff, which is starting to feel quite silly now seeing how these regulations turned out to be a big joke.

NotRomansPaintCompany ltd anyone?

They have made £38m so far on sales, and with Jovetic and Dzeko there are contingent permanent sales that could be used for account purposes this season, so for the purposes of the account books at City, the sales figure could reach £64m.

Kinda forgot Jovetic left :P

50.4M hahahaha what a rip off.. good player but never worth that money. ...

... in 2014 when KDB moved to Wolfsburg some people were saying: £17.5m hahahaha what a rip off.. good player but never worth that money ... now the kid already has added £33m to his pricetag ... :tiphat:

17.5M was a good deal for us we bought him for like 6.7M, we got another 10.8M for him, City are severely overpaying for him. If Wolfsburg had to sell he'd be gone for 30M by now. They are only selling him for a record fee because they don't need to sell him to balance the books or that. He really should stay another year prove he can do that sort of season again. One season wonders have happened before.

Its obvious he's not a 50M player.

In these inflated times, he might be just that. Plus, what if he brings to the EPL what he did to the Bundesliga. Just saying (belgian bias on) [emoji4]

It is the same with everyone, Pedro apparently now is 'not that good' anymore according to MU fans on redcafe because they lost out on him. City were 'never interested' in Pogba anyway now it seems that deal is dead and others. Truth is we can pray De Bruyne doesn't bring his Bundesliga form to City or otherwise it would be our own Pogba case.

He is undoubtedly a good player yes but the way people go on about him in here (not meaning just the Belgian members, some other people think he's god) you'd think he is world class. You won't see Chelsea paying 50M for a player of that level, simply because the value for the money is not there.

We belgians know/and debate he is Hazard class. The country is divided on this. That says a lot though. He will not fail and thats what im afraid of....

He's definitely not in the class Hazard is. He might do well but he won't replicate that sort of stats in the PL, I am absolutely sure of it.

Wouldn't say that, it is not like we lack right wingers of a certain level like United lacked a CM of the sort of level Pogba was. We have Willian and Pedro for the right wing, really excited to see Pedro play. He has real pace and unlike Willian at times an actual end product and scores goals.

I don't think de Bruyne will replicate that sort of stats for City, he might do well but 50M is a lot of cash, an absolute shit load of money, Hazard cost 32M and Pedro cost 21M. City were linked with both. I know money isn't an object for them obviously but still you could argue both are better and more proven players.

Well Im part of the belgians that say he is below Hazard, but it is quite a debate here. In every NT game the hazard vs KDB is played out (which is ridiculous). One thing that is quite sure is that Musonda is Hazard class. This kid is amazing ever since Ive seen him play in the youth Leagues. All youth coaches here just drool over him. I hope this one makes it/gets a chance.

City have some of the best book fiddlers in the world. Fined last year for not complying with FFP, sell players for a loss, barely have a fanbase in the UK (forget about outside it) and their sponsors are from their owner. What a joke. If they can spend that amount we should be able to spend more.

Musonda when I've seen him with the u21s looks top drawer but again u21s is u21s, hopefully he gets a loan move, I know he was talked about in the Falcao deal but I don't know whats happening now probably missed his chance.

Im very conservative in my estimation of players. I never called one a potential goat besides Hazard (i think about belgians because I see them play at young age). I think Musonda is even more so ....... This guy is off the charts as hazard imo.

Then again, let's see. Anyway, it would be a crime not to let a talent have room to flourish here. If that happened, I would start doubting the club.
