The Mak 4,459
Thirteen seasons of service, three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups, Chelsea's first ever Champions League, Chelsea's top goalscorer of all time and apparently this guy is not a legend any more. I'm done. For the last time, he is still a legend to over 95% of people here, but he has significantly fallen down the pecking order. Before this, he had the perfect image; I didn't think anyone could be more 'proper Chels' than Frank Lampard - how wrong I was.We are not confusing being a legend of a footballer with being a lying, attention-seeking, money-grabbing cunt of a person. Popular Post! CMS 382 Posted January 3, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted January 3, 2015 Please enough of this Lampard this and that. The guy has always been a selfish self centered person. Its all about Lamps. always all about him. I cannot get past when Drogba needed one goal to win the goal awards in the EPL and Lampard refused to him play the penalty that would have guaranteed the award. Fortunately, we got another PK and that was how Drogba ended up winning it. He knew what he was doing.Lamps never left London. They sent all the fans to New York while he sat there conniving and lied to everyone. That is what is pissing off everyone. Its not that he went to play for City, that has got little to do with it. Just tell the truth and be done with it. His own cousin ratted him out on Daily mail, the day he scored the goal against us. He even went out and celebrated on town with his wife and some team players. Compare that to Stevie G. I believe him and he's man enough to even vow that he will not play against Liverpool.Big respect to Steve. But Lampard! Hmn.. another story. I've already moved past him. Right now to me he is Lamps who? His attitude is just comparable to a weasle. Just be a man and tell everyone your intentions. Plain and simple. Like the wise men have always said, "It takes a lifetime to make a friend, but it only takes 5 minutes to make an enemy out of man". Great job Lamps. Laylabelle 9,535
The only reason why his contract has been extended is because he's done extremely well for them in the short period of time. This only proves that we made a mistake of letting him go because clearly he's still top class and is content with a squad player role.Yeah doubt they thought he'd have such a impact.Could've easily been a Torres situation and just forget how to play but nopeThose fans who brought season tickets etc...cant say he'll get the welcome he would've done should he go back to New York when the seasons over MichaelDance

I had this bad feeling towards Lamps since the days when reports broke out of his and AVBs rift and what he did. Then he came out and said in his pre CL-Final Interview on youtube, answering to the question of "What do you like the most about your manager", with a big grin in his face "He plays me, not like that oter fella". And that was it, I thought of him as a selfish person, who exactly knows what his power is at any time, what his value is and how he can get the best out of it for himself. But he is a superb actor, cause Mou belived in him and trusted him, you can see how disappointed he was after he plays for city "I don't talk about players from other clubs", is his only response for a persone he a few months before would refer to as "best player and chelsea through and through, legend, and always welcomed back to the bridge"...Thank you SFL for your services, great achivements, but not a legend, not to me... You've done well. That was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. There were even some fans saying Lampard did the right thing at the time as if Drogba wasn't arguably the world's greatest striker at the time - they spoke as if Drogba would not only have missed but that he'd miss so badly the game would be fortified as a result and that we'd lose the title to Man Utd. Lampard's faux-seriousness as he denied Drogba the penalty as if he was saving a dying child was a complete and utter farce. I remember speaking to Peace (how do you mention somebody so they see the post?!) about Lampard's inherent selfishness a few times. Honestly, this is why my favourite players of the Roman era are Cech and Drogba - they're the real MVPs; they represent everything I want our club to be about. kc_blue, Sir Mikel OBE, Rambo and 4 others

lionsden 4,689
Even neutral fans and rival fans including the "I hate Chelsea and will go out of my way to show it" fans can never look at Lampard the same way again. before he left Chelsea, he was seen as one of the most professional and most likeble out of all our players alongside Mata. You had often hear opposition fans saying "Majority of Chelsea players are cunt with the exception of Mata and Lampard, those two are the only ones I can tolerate".With his latest shenanigans, His image has been tainted not only from CFC fans perspective but the football world as a whole with the exception of City fans who are loving every minute of this ofcourse. Most of them are particularly disappointed with the shadiness and unethical nature of the loan deal just like us and Arsene Wenger of all people was right all along. darrus, manpe and MichaelDance
Stats 7,142
Please enough of this Lampard this and that. The guy has always been a selfish self centered person. I cannot get past when Drogba needed one goal to win the goal awards in the EPL and Lampard refused to him play the penalty that would have guaranteed the award. Fortunately, we got another PK and that was how Drogba ended up winning it. He knew what he was doing.I disagree with that. We were only 1-0 up against Wigan at the time and Lampard was our designated penalty taker. Why should we of let Drogba take it just because he needed to be top scorer? That would be more selfish if Drogba had taken it. Are you seriously trying to tell me if we went in to this last game of the season for instance against West Brom and City were 1 point behind us going into the game and we were 1-0 up which is not a secure lead by any means and we had a penalty and Costa needed one goal to win the awards, that we simply should let him take the penalty over Hazard? Of course not because Hazard is our reliable penalty taker and it would not be a game you should be taking liberties with and Mourinho would not be happy, same way Ancelotti would not have been happy. This is about a team not a player. The other Lampard criticism is fair and open to opinion but come on using that against him is harsh. When we had the game secured Lampard had no problem in letting Drogba take the next penalty. You said Lamprd knew what he was doing. Of course he did. He knew he was the best penalty taker at the club, we all wanted the PL title and the obvious choice was him. Club over player, it is not player over club. Muzchap and Tomo

Honestly, this is why my favourite players of the Roman era are Cech and Drogba - they're the real MVPs; they represent everything I want our club to be about.Cech - nearly died playing for this club; came back and did even better than before.Cole - faced incredible adversity after his move from Arsenal. Always in the media for the wrong reasons - cheating on Cheryl; shooting a kid with an air rifle - but came through it all to leave with dignity and our respect.Drogba - played for the club despite battling malaria, whilst representing a country torn in half by civil war.Mikel - constantly berated left, right and centre but has he ever moaned? Played out of position, vilified by fans for every mistake he makes, and played for us despite his dad being kidnapped and held hostage for ten days. Essien - his career was ruined by injuries, but every time he played for us, he did it with a smile. Embodied passion and determination and had a never-say-die attitude, even when he was playing at RB/CB/LB in 2006/07. Terry - nothing needs to be said about JT; he'd play if he had a limb hanging off. Those are the players that represent everything great about this club.Lamps has made his bed and now he can lie in it. I couldn't be more disappointed. Let me be honest, I always thought Villas-Boas was a whining cunt, but the way he was treated by Lampard was disgusting - he'd purposefully come in late for training and wave at him while he did it. It takes years to build a legacy but only minutes to tarnish it. Fulham Broadway, Polo7, Rambo and 18 others
unitedkingpin 21
Right, but despite the rivalry between you guys and City, back then they weren't title contenders by any means. Big Pete wasn't going to help take the PL title away from you. And he didn"t join them right after leaving United.PS: he's also a bit of a legend over here at Sporting, the dane. Was especially shocked by how he treated AVB.If this is true then I have no words. Absolutely shocked. I have always held a player's personality in the highest regard, that was the main reason why I loved him so much, I thought he was one of the rare good guys. But revelations like this, how much I want to believe aren't true, are bringing my estimation of him down near to zero.Remember the ancient story from 2001, when him and Terry(?) allegedly mocked Americans after 9/11 in a bar. They both denied it, but now I think it may have very well happened, except JT grew up. On the other hand, why were JT and Lamps such good friends, if Frank really was an arrogant cunt? You aren't friends with such a person unless you are the same, or was Lampsy pretending even to his teammates? I don't know, I hope to fuck JT isn't like that. Liquidator, can you shed some light on that? xPetrCechx
