OneMoSalah 8,886
If we had to chose one out of Frank and Ash I know who I'd chose, Cole. Good MFs are easier to come by these days but there's what 3 or 4 top LBs in the world right now, I'd rather lose Frank and have Ash than the other way around. The only place to be 11,313
He can help these younger lads to get better be it with their football abilities, skills or the know how on how to react in tough situations during matches. As mentioned earlier, they can help to guide the younger players with their footballing abilities and knowledge in the game off the pitch and on it, particularly during tough circumstances, these experienced players can be called upon when needed to calm things down.Hmm..... Henrique 9,133
Not sure what people are thinking right now after his poor match against the worst team in the league. Lampard is not a consistent player since 09/10 season. I dont agree with the argument we need Lampard to teach the younger players. The squad right now has a gap, between a bunch of U-23 players and some players in his 30. We need some players that are in their prime, 25 to 30 years old. Peace. and OneMoSalah

Maybe he didn't 'transmit' the importance of this game to us fans, to the youngsters.
Rubber bullets 1,183
I'm just concerned that Rafa seems to want to start Lampard in every game. At 34 I don't think he has the energy to do that properly. He isn't in his 20 where he could start every PL game. Blue Armour
Popular Post! We Hate Scouse 10,326 Posted January 3, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted January 3, 2013 He was getting in some fantastic positions on the outside of the box last night, but instead of cutting it back to him Moses and Marin just crossed it in to nobody (Torres). It's annoying because he probably would've scored those chances. chelseathebest, Hutcho, Spike and 3 others

He is the football player I love the most in the world. His style, mindset, tehnique, look...really can't imagine Chelsea without him...At least he wont he CL. Now, those who like him, can get on their knees and give him a proper BJ before going on wanking on their Stevie God. OneMoSalah 8,886
I know I know :(He would have been a useful rotation option but still nothing more imo. Also means in the summer we are likely to sign a class MF player to take the #8 jersey surely.. NishC300 1,865
Just joined in on this post.Totally agree. For experience in big games and tournaments etc, we have Ashley, Mikel, JT, Torres, Cech, Branna, Paulo even Mata being 2 time European Champion and WC winner so its not like Lamps leaving leaves us full of rookies who haven't done anything in the game. Hard to believe Mikel is only 25, seems like hes been here for 15 years lol.Mata was not in the 2008 Euro team or 2010 World Cup team. He was only in the 2012 Euro team and he only got 5 mins. Paulo barely plays. Torres has a shit attitude no way a leader. Lampard is playing well we should just leave him in the squad. He can play a role similar to Manure's ginger bastard and bro's wife shagger. It would be stupid to just let him go. Heisenberg

AVB tried to get him to be a squad player and it didn't work out very well.

I read the article u posted about Lamps' agent and he says he wants to win trophies and score goals. He will keep doing that if he stays at Chelsea.... so I think he has been prepared to change his game for the club for an attacking midfielder to a little deeper I am sure he could become a squad player.
