More to management than purely recruiting well.  Having good players is all well and good but if your team plays predictable football which is orientated around your fullbacks crossing and nothing else, you will come unstuck, I dont care if the name is Frank Lampard, Sir Alex Ferguson or Pep Guardiola. Even more so with quality players such as Ziyech, Pulisic, Werner, Havertz which we have. The last 2 who look an absolute shadow of the players they were last season in his system. Not completely sold on Tuchel, decent manager but stubborn and abrasive if he doesn’t get his own way. Left Mainz on bad terms. Sackes from Dortmund after being on bad terms with key figures at the club and now has left PSG on bad terms after taking shots at Leonardo.

Tuchel a possibility for Chelsea. Sources near Tuchel saying he doesn’t want to take a break and prefers to take charge of a new team asap. Also stating he would love to work with Werner, Havertz and Rüdiger.

What obvious writing.

Naturally if we were to lose our next 2 games, one assumes Lampard's neck would really be on the chopping block then but I would rather believe an English source rather than a German source when it comes to that.

People have been widely talking about potential replacements but the funny thing is we haven't heard a single thing about Lampard getting the sack (yet), certainly not from the English media. If we go back to winning ways today and beat City for example, then Lampard will definitely be nowhere near getting the sack and all the talk will be moot.

Lampard's whole tactics seems to be switch to the fullbacks and cross it into the box. That's why he cant bench Abraham/Giroud to play Werner through the middle, because Lampards tactics is to cross only (David Moyes Style) and hope something happens so he needs a tall striker there. He can't play attacking football like Klopp, Guardiola and Brenden rodgers who use smaller strikers, No single link up plays through the middle, no one twos, no dribbles through the centre, just pass between our centrebacks, switch to the fullbacks, cross into the box and hope someone gets there  

The moment Ziyech got injured (our only player that can play through the middle) and James started playing with an injury (our best crosser) Lampard's true tactical naivety has been exposed.

Rudiger was a legit contributor in the FA Cup final and Europa league wins. Was man of the match in the FA final too.

You're right of course, especially Conte. He did exceptionally well with the dross at his disposal and that coaching success isn't mitigated in the slightest by poor transfers on his part

There really should be just one basic and genuine question we should be asking ourselves - is there some other coach that would get out of this current team more? Much more? Do we believe that?

Because honestly, not unlocking the potential of the current squad FULLY, that would be a criminal disaster and a collosal fuck up.

if we are talking about getting the maximum from players and would a new coach help then I say the answer is yes. Currently we have FL playing Timo Werner out wide, that in itself is a total fuck up for a start. What comes with that is having chase back and do more fucking donkey work, no wonder he look dead on his feet. That's another point, he's not rested Werner and game managed him, take for example Salah, Klopp did this with him v Palace, benched him and fetched him on to score.

Frank also played Reece James and Chilwell injured against Arsenal, that is another huge fuck up and adds to the list of questions that need to be asked...what the fuck is FL doing and why is he pushing players into the ground.

And maybe if a new coach arrives he would give instructions from the sidelines rather than stand motionless and idealess like a complete waste of space.

Depends. Man management wise, probably yes because some players play every match without showing any sign of improvement and they still are untouchable.

But if our next coach plays Kovacic, Mount and Kante, I don't think the next coach can turn any of them into Xavi or Iniesta type of players.
