Leif 6,006
Due to a part of the Cahill deal when we bought him, Bolton can loan 1 Chelsea player next season.I believe this could be the perfect opportunity for Josh McEachran to get some game time, although Bolton themselves want Oriol Romeu.Romeu has said in a Spanish interview however, that he doesn't want to join Bolton. Would like to keep Romeu but he needs game time. He may not get that depending on the system the manager uses eg. 4-3-3. Plus if we did loan Romeu it should be to an EPL side not a championship side. Bir_CFC 3,455
No we should keep Romeu. Mikel-Lamps with Romeu-Meireles backups. McEachran is the one that should be loaned out. Essien should leave and if not, he can be the backup to the back-ups.

Blue Traveler 256
We can't dismiss all of our experienced players the team will fall apart we need them just yet. it's not easy for the likes of Pizon, Chalobah, Romeu and other youngsters to come along and make a difference it's just too soon after all we are talking about EPL and its pressue... KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
How about this whole thing about Mancini wanting Thiago Silva? I hope it doesn't happen, as a Silva-Kompany partnership could be world class. Their defence is probably their weak spot but with Silva they would be really strong. OneMoSalah 8,887
See for a backup striker, this might sound daft as fuck but why not look at Gary Hooper.... scored 101 goals in 4 years, probably going to be ridiculed for it but he would have a similar impact to Nikita Jelavic has had at Everton with some service... may play in the SPL but still we want a "cheap alternative" for back up, why not consider him lmao. Only 24 and would count as a homegrown player! Still won't happen but in the right team he would be unreal, hes great in and around the box has a bit of pace and great finishing..... or spend another 50 million on someone

Some would be excellent squad players, such as Hoilett, Andy Johnson, Craig Gordon (Fantastic back-up for Cech), Diame (Potentially good enough for the 1st team), Astori and Miccoli.Hope we pick up a bargain.
