and who would reus displace in the trio of hazard-oscar-willian. wait a very successful trio of hazard-oscar-willian. u simply just dont tinker with a combo (which by the way took 4 months to be found out) and simply throw it out of the window. thats not the way real football works.

as for di maria, lets not even go there. madrid play 4-2-3-1 and have CR, bale, di maria and isco as there only options along with jese. plus carlo has already said that there will be no departures.

I'll start with Di Maria. His departure right now is not going to happen. Carlo has switched to a 4-3-3, and Di Maria has been playing as the 3rd player in midfield.

He could end up back on the bench next season though when Madrid go for players like Gundogan and Pogba, to add to Modric and Alonso/Illaramendi in the starting XI.

As for Reus, we had a settled trio last season also, but Willian became available and we had to buy him. And Reus is better than Willian, not to mention Oscar.

It's unlikely to happen though tbh, i think ideally Mourinho wants a left footed player.

i saw the RM match last night and it really looked nothing like a 4-3-3.

it was pretty much a 4-2-3-1 with modric-illaramendi playing the pivot. CR on the LW, bale on the RW and maria thru the center. i maybe wrong there but after watching the match, that is what i would say.

also i had heard a lot about di maria getting the boot since RM has the world's 2 best wingers but week after week it has been di maria that has consistently been starting the matches (bale injury in the start, CR injury after that and now he has totally displaced isco out of the CAM position, specially after the athletico match).

we DID NOT have a settled trio. the defensive problems with MAZACAR was pretty evident for every1. plus towards the end of the last season oscar on the RW was not good. hence the required changes. as of this moment, we have a balanced trio of AMs and for the first time in years, have a CDM who can complement them, but now we want to disturb it all so as to get reus/mr. x /mr. Y.

also i would want players who play for the batch. the blue lion with the pole. reus seems to be a BVB player, on the other hand we have a POTY for the last 2 seasons who we are selling to our rivals. just not done.

Agree to disagree on Reus.

On Di Maria, this is what Carlo said 2 days ago: "The 4-3-3 system gives us more balance because the defensive job done by the three midfielders is very good and we will keep using this system. It is true that this change makes it more difficult for Isco, but I think he can play in [Angel] Di María’s or [Luka] Modric’s position as well"

Remember, how all those fools kept calling Ki a Swansea reject as if they knew anything about the situation..

Ki had joined Swansea side last summer and this season he was loaned out to Sunderland for one full season.

Ki feels that he is considered to be playing an important part to get Sunderland going based on Poyet's firm support towards him.

However, Swansea is struggling unlike the last season, as they struggle to organise the team spirit as one, and due to unexpected late injuries of their first team players.

Young-Oak Ki(Ki's dad) who is in charge of Korean football association of Gwangju city.

reveals that Laudrup has mistakenly abandoned Ki for ridiculous speculations of his own.

"Many think that Laudrup is the one who sent Ki away to Sunderland, but it is definitely not the case" says Young-Oak Ki

"The contract made by both Ki and Swansea includes a clause that the player will be guaranteed to play the least 20 games as a starter which Ki himself wanted and included."

"The Chelsea game was his 20th game playing as a starter, and this is the game he resulted in heavy injury on his thigh. Ki told Laudrup that he would like to treat his injury in the Korean National Medical Centre as he precisely judged the facilities there are much better than those in the club medical centre."

"Ki added that he is convinced that the medical system would help him recover more efficiently as the national football team doctor of South Korea advised him that way."

"However, Laudrup mistakenly believed that Ki was trying to make a lame excuse after his 20th game of him being starter so as to slack off as much as he can. That inconsiderate thought of Laudrup led him to disliking Ki."

"Laudrup then approved Ki of his suggestion and let him go get treated in Korea.
And Ki believed Laudrup fully understood what he told him and took it to his heart with gratitude"

"When Ki came back, Laudrup brought in new players at his position and started ignoring him and excluding him from game to game. and this continued for a while."

"Ki realised something was wrong, and he asked Laudrup why he can't play as a regular starter. Laudrup said to Ki that he isn't trustworthy as a professional footballer and avoided Ki in any direct conversations."

"When Swansea tested out players' stamina, Ki was rated the 4th of the whole first team squad, yet Laudrup kept making excuses that he is not fully ready or Ki has to win his position by sheer competition."

"Ki outran those competitors in the training yet, Laudrup didn't give him a glance."

"The reason why Swansea didn't get Ki back was due to Laudrup's own objection toward the plan, yet the club unlike Laudrup, wants to keep Ki in a long run."

"Swansea offered an extension in Ki's contract with better clauses but Ki was obviously worried about Laudrup's dislike of him. So Ki is being cautious" - See more at: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/forum/100456/%E2%98%85the-truth-about-laudrup-vs-ki-revealed!%E2%98%85/#70

It's funny how he makes another final though on a sub par team though...

So, what does this have to do with Chelsea?! I had to stop reading after Ki was mentioned for the 13th time...

It's the general transfer thread. You're going to call out every single non-chelsea related post in a thread where majority of the posts are not related to Chelsea?

Some people made comments about him on this board about being a swansea reject, second tier player, etc...

And how exactly does that make him a transfer target? At the very least way off-topic.

@kir no I won't as I haven't - just this one as is clearly just promoting a Swansea player for no reason remotely related to chelsea.

Ok maybe my understanding of this thread is wrong... Is this a completely open transfer talk then? Honest question.

I assumed it was since people were doing all transfer talk from BPL to La Liga, etc...

my apologies then... thought it was chelsea-related.

just thought that very long post on Ki a bit out of place. BTW, whether he becomes a player worth of notice at the very top level is really up to him.
