edenhazard17 281
Hope they don't sell him to Real tbh. Imagine the players spurs could buy with 100,000,000?? At the moment they are a one man team. With 100Mill, they could be very dangerous. Let's just hope for a dip in form or injury and the yids can fuck off back to the bottom of the table..hmm, now you mention about it. Now they are obviously "Gareth Bale FC", if Bale leave then it would be a big loss for them, but at the same time they will have a lot of money. Some kind of dilemma. I prefer they stick with Bale then.
We Hate Scouse 10,330
I can understand Ronaldo going for stupid money, but Bale?Ronaldo sells shirts. I can hardly imagine the Real Madrid fans going out and buying a Bale shirt. What a stupid transfer.

Do they even ask the question as to "why a player worth 100 million can't get his team into the top 4?" FFS, he has one move! Dribble to his left and whack! I'm sure any half decent manager could get a DM to track him and shut down that one play. Worse case is they sell him for 100Mil, he stinks in his first season and they buy him back for 20mil when Real have shattered any confidence he once had. They put 80 mil in the piggy-bank and Bale finds his form playing in England again..

The best players would cost way more than they ever pay for players and they have a strict wage ceiling which isn't near what elite players earn. Most importantly, they have no CL footy to offer and all of the teams ahead of them have improved, meaning it'll be even tougher this coming season to make top 4.There really aren't any players out there for them to get that would scare me or make me concerned about Spuds. Fernando 6,591
Their problem will be team chemistry. Negredo and Jovetic are impressive players, but will surely take some time to settle in. I'm not so sure how good Fernandinho is, but again it's quite rare a player will join a new club in a new league and do anything really amazing. If Silva has been found out as it looked last year, they could be in trouble with all this happening too. Mourinho is just trying to heap even more pressure on them.Okay let's look at this. You mentioned Negredo and jovetic. Seems decent signing but I don't know much about them so I can't say much. But tell me how is these two players is supposed to affect team chemistry when Aguero and dzeko are still there? If any these two should be the main strikers and the new two will complement till they get on page. Then you mention Fernandinho. He is good no doubt, as he rip a new ass hole to us last year in the champions League. But even then they got yaya, Barry and by now a more adjusted Garcia. So I'm still trying to see what major hole there is here that will drastically affect team chemistry? They already have a great core of players and the new ones coming in do not seem to be all out of place. And then there is silva. Well what can you say, sometimes players go out of form. Weather is by a previous injury or lack of motivation. But silva a lone will not affect team chemistry, just will make them less competitive cause they don't have a top player at its peak. I can guarentee with 100Mil, he will snuff out a few very good prospects. At the end of the day, the ball is definetly in Spurs court whether they sell him or not. lucio 5,418
in my opinion AVB is a terrible manager but he certainly knows how to get good players on the transfer market. lets hope the best players will have no interest of playing for spurs due to no trophies and champions league football. Hardly at all, if anything it proved the power of the players playing shit for AVB and then turning up for rdm. And rdm was not even good, as proof by his fail stint in the new season. AVB made some mistakes, yes it's true and even the man itself acknowledge it, but that does not make him a bad manager all of a sudden. Mourinho left real madrid with his tails between his leg by his horrible campaign at the bernabeu. But he still is a top coach nonetheless. So the notion that AVB should be looked at as a bad manager because of his time at Chelsea is unjust. They score goals. Lots of them. Regarding the chemistry - it's simple. Didn't you notice how they played last season? I've mentioned that a few times now, and it was a common opinion I agree with - the team chem was low. Now add even more new players, and how will it improve? I don't want to keep repeating the same stuff, but you've asked. As for Aguero and Dzeko... do you honestly think all them millions were spent to sit both new forwards on the bench? One of them will start, and Dzeko will suffer further. He's really out of favour. Has he even settled yet anyway, after the treatment he's recieved? He deserved a lot better, he's a top-class player. As for Garcia - was he really given enough game time to be classed as a player with any real PL experience? I'm not sure. He looks distinctly average as well. But of course Yaya is a monster in there. The team is strong without doubt, but playing as a team wins titles. Their manager is a really smart appointment though - So I don't completely rule them out of getting it together quite quickly. My personal opinion on Silva will need to wait though - I can't work out what is wrong with him. What is undeniable though is the fact he has been off-form for quite some time. With him pulling the strings City were very strong, without, disjointed and no real team spirit. They'll probably end up starting three new players in their starting XI. All being attackers. Every time we would play them they would make great plays that require good team chemistry. While here in our club we could not string a bunch of great passes against them.If anything I think what was hurting them is Mancini piss poor man management skills. Not all the time, but I will assume from the beginning Aguero and Dzeko will be the go to guys as they got more experience with the team. I don't think Pellegrini is a fool where he will throw them straight into the team without having any acclimation. Similar to what RDM did with Oscar at Chelsea. If he can't figure that out, then he does not have a reason to be managing at this level. As for Garcia - was he really given enough game time to be classed as a player with any real PL experience? I think we can both agree that Mancini underperform with the squad he had. Mancini at the helm made the job easier for all of us. Now that he is gone the handicap is of. My personal opinion on Silva will need to wait though - I can't work out what is wrong with him. What is undeniable though is the fact he has been off-form for quite some time. They are just fine with whatever comes about. Who knows maybe Pellegrini injects passion into him and he starts producing well, but I question Silva mentality. If anyone wanted to buy Hazard right now off us they'd have to pay at least £50m IMO.
