Lamps has beaten Pep and Messi before, he can do it again.

But Lamps and our project will be judged if we win PL. Winning Pl when City has Messi and KDB is a little bit hard. We do not have anyone that is even close to KDB and now they get Messi lol.

We had such an amazing transfer window and City beats us just by signing Messi.
I am really sad haha.

Messi to Man City means that we will not win anything at Chelsea for the next 2-4 years and our new project failed.

I don't think so. Messi teams can be beaten. Just see the last few years at Barca

Yeah we prolly wont win PL next 2 years but I doubt we would have anyway. We can still win cups. if we mange to do so, Lamps might have a chance of staying on. Messi mgiht have 2 more great years in him but he wont age as gracefully in PL as in other leagues. defenders will make a point of kicking the shit out of him and he hates that. City right now are already a well-oiled machine. Sure Messi is an upgrade on any RW in the world but he will block some of their further development when Messi commands similar power there like at Barca. Messi destroyed Barca, maybe he will do the same with city.

IF Messi comes in, I wonder if either Riyad Mahrez or Bernardo will want a transfer? Mahrez is probably the most likely as he turns 30yo soon. IF Pep keeps Bernardo at RW, then one of them will be buried. He will probably slide Bernardo over to much more of an AMF.

They will have four left-footed RWers.

Messi

Bernardo

Mahrez

Ferran Torres (maybe they loan him out?)

Complete imbalance, as they only have one true LWer (Sterling)

None of their 4 left-footers likes to play on the left.

And even Foden is left-footed, lolol.

Plus they have 3 left-footed (obviously) LB's, and Pep doesn't rate any of them. So much so that he plays right-footed Cancelo at LB as of late.

and finally, the low-rated left-footed RWer, Patrick Roberts, and then 2 left-footed CB's now (Laporte and Ake)

KDB?  ok if havertz continues developing day after day we will see😉

We have great potential to have the best attack in England (unless city sign Messi ).

Even IF they get Messi, and you think Hazard was getting fouled much, Messi will be in for one rough ride here in the PL.

Referees will protect Messi more than Hazard. Hazard was not protected at all

Messi and KDB and sterling is too good to challenge, but we can compete in Chl games (only two games against Messi ) .
Bayern won Barcelona , Real Madrid won without Ronaldo . Why it’s too impossible for us ? If we sign another good Cb and and a Gk ,why not ?

how is ffp relevant when he would join on a free transfer.

This.

There's also no guarantee that Messi will leave Barcelona on a free, if he does really leave. There's gonna be a legal battle between him and the board over his contract exit clause. Otherwise his release clause is 700 million euros.

It would be quite ridiculous if Barca will keep Messi against his own will. Messi is Barcelona. If he wants to leave, they should respect that. He gave them many chances to sort their mess out, but they failed. Now, it is time to move on.

Only two clubs can afford Messi. It is also ridiculous that Pep will get Messi because only with Messi he can CL.

again, there is no way that messi will ask for these wages from a new club. so it doesnt really matter what his wages were this past season.

lets assume his wages will be 500k/w from city. thtats roughly 25 million a year. thats not too hard to cover with 1 transfer and ffp is done with. i highly doubt any club would go over 500k for him, and if he really wants to leave he for sure knows he wont get that 1m/w salary anywhere, so his basically agreed already for a lowered salary.

and if he cant leave for free he wont leave at all.

also, didnt they say that ffp is not counted for the next season because of the virus or am i trippin.
