Oscar 441
How can you say that the signings United have made in this window have no results or potential to work well together??Can you look into your crystal ball and see wether Costa is going to score more with Falcao on the block.. i was thinking of putting him in ny dream team!ThanksSouthampton FC. Shaw, Lambert, Llalana were all flops.Bastian is older and injury prone.Darmian came from a shit team in serie a and has what 12 caps for italy?Depay is from the dutch league and still very young. Reminds me of a ss Reus, not a winger by any means this depay.Chelsea FC transfers.2 guys from atletico which have a very similar playstyle to Jose Mourinho.Cesc had history already at Arsenal and may not be great in the pivot, still put up great stats.Same united team that had an abundance of attacking players and still resorted to hoofball fellaini smash. Popular Post! Weckerz 3,781 Posted July 25, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted July 25, 2015 Dunno why people on this board underestimate United's potential for this season so much. They have a cracking line-up.United, City and Arsenal are all title candidates without a doubt. It's nothing new. some fans find it hard to give credit or show any form of respect to a rival teams. One of our rival could sign 5 world class players to strengthen and fix the holes in their squad and some people will somehow find a way to discredit it. stroey, Stingray and Weckerz
Unionjack 7,531
i know this like random thoughts, but what do you think about jamez rodriguez ?because if making isco or sterling as our target is not will be solved our problembecause even they excellent player but both isnt answer to improve our attackingwhat they can offer just about flair, flick, dribble, close controlsome people say they have problem about creating chances, lack of vision to make clear cut chances, lack of final product, cannot give more threat on goal, inconcisten even poor finishing, cannot offer long range shootthe chances to get him extremely slim, but to think his transfer actually have same scenario with isco possible departureif RM buy new shiny toy like pogba/reus ----> madrid prorbably have to sell one of their star like modric/isco ----> but if isco maybe will pick ahead than jamez under benitez and use him properly in his best position not as cam/midfielder----> then this will unlock the imposibility about james departurejames will solve our lacking in final third and attacking aspect perfectly, since he is really got excellent technique, can hold ball under pressure not only hazard, have an eye to make killer pass, excelent long range shot, very good finishing aswellnot sure about his defensive job toughlike impossible signing, but a man can dreamPersonally I love the lad but we might as well wish for the Burj Khalifa (Mou dreams small! ) TheIceMan

Unionjack 7,531
Well if tonight proved nothing else we need to get shot of Mikel because that just didn't work did it? We need either Witsel and/or Aranguiz. Cahill too because JT/Zouma worked again as it has before.Even if we just get a CN/LB/CM and preferably a RM or CAM we might just be ok. It wouldnt mean spending a bloody fortune but theyre players that we very much need.I was pleasantly suprized about Moses tho and Im glad Falcao showed potential. Madmax 9,219
How do people come up with 'winners/losers of the window' talk when no signing has had to kick a ball that matters yet is beyond me.

CHOULO19 24,332
Really? They have more quality in midfield than any team in the league as well as a better bench than everyone else. Essien19 and The Skipper

Luckily Di Maria is being sold so that weakens their strength in midfield a bit but still, a very strong, in depth team. People are sleeping on the United squad IMO. lionsden 4,689
They have more quality in midfield than any team in the league as well as a better bench than everyone else. Plus their big game result and performance under van Gaal has been superb. That's a factor that's often glossed over. With the squad they have now and with the team maturing, they should easily dispatch the smaller teams and you can expect them to continue their big game form against the big teams. CHOULO19 24,332
And what about defence and up front? Their defense is not weak. Individually, ours and City's defense is not better, after all, Cahill and Ivanovic are starters for us! In attack, I'm pretty sure they will sign another striker but even if they don't, Rooney is capable of getting 15-20 goals as a striker easily. It's never easy to bring several new big players into a team.
