Such players need to play regulary to become world class and if he wont play regulary, he will never be good enoughto. play for us. Same for Josh, Kdb, Kane, Romeu,...lets say we buy Martinez, now tell me where and when will Romeu play? He need to start regular games, or his performance will go down. If we will wait to Mikel get old and keep buying new players like Martinez because they are currently better than Romeu, benching Romeu untill he will be 24yrs and then expect him to play fantastic? No, he should start next year, despite he isnt top class yet, but eventualy he will be great. Chelsea will have to sacrafice one season for Romeu, Kdb, Lukaku,...or they will never become good. You need to play with talents regulary, not benching them or loaning them to other low clubs, you think Xavi and Iniesta would be top class if barca would loaning them to other clubs and start playing them at age 23?Not possible, i disagree. Tomo 21,751
But a loan is always at a risk of turning into something similar to what happened at Swansea and would be a total waste of time.We should have a clause saying if he doesn't play x amount of minutes in x amount of games we should loan him out.Personally we forced premier loans on Kakuta and McEachran to quick, we should have done similar to what Tottenham did with this Caulker fella, start at a League one loan then Championship, then Premier. Spike 12,049
Yeh, he would kill our defence.David Luiz is a CB, not a sweeper....and why do we need a sweeper?Because I think he can emulate Franz Beckenbauer. The sweeper must always be "the last player" in defense (after the goalkeeper, of course). His job is to close down gaps left by other defenders. The libero roams laterally, a few meters behind the last line of fullbacks. He must try not to sway too far towards the flanks. The sweeper analyzes the development of plays, anticipates where open angles and passing lanes are forming and make quick decisions about dealing with them. Because they never mark enemy attackers, sweepers can move a great deal forward when their team is in possession of the ball. This frequently finds the enemy defense unprepared as an unmarked player is unexpectedly introduced to the play. Overall, the sweeper should be very perceptive (usually experienced) with good ball handling skills and confidence.http://expertfootball.com/coaching/positions.php
