Arsenal really did play far beyond the caliber of what I expected, even without RVP. Man City,and Aguero, quiet all for the majority of the game pops up to score when it matters most. We really need a Pato or Cavani - I say Pato, because he can do that extra "stuff" like Aguero and dare I say el fenomeno.You can have all the top strikers in the world in this team and it wont matter one iota until we get some real flair and a pure play maker in the team. Very poor team we have at the moment, i can't believe people still seem to think players like Lampard and such will carry us on to glory. The players are more to blame than AVB, although AVB has to take some of the blame with some dodgy tactics and playing players out of position. We failed in the attacking 3 (because obviously Lukaku IS NOT A FUCKING WINGER) and they got us on the counter attack. Then a set piece and bam, 2:0 down. Torres was bad playing like he did last season, but, if my memory is right, there wasn't a single usable ball for him. All the balls he received were at his feet with defender(s) on him which ended with him losing the ball and considering we were playing Liverpool it wasn't easy.
