Tomo 21,751
Im probally going to get pasted for this but i think we seriously need to consider cutting our loses this January, if we can somehow get a club to spend £20m for him then ill be delighted.I have backed him for a long time and was overjoyed when it looked like he was back with his 4 in 3 games but since then he has just hit a new low and i cannot see where his next goal is coming from. I think it's time to accept Chelsea and Torres is just a pure match made in hell. Atleast last season we can say he lacked service in a way, this season Mata and Meireles has come in and after a mini promising start he is just as bad as last season now.I agree with BL that we got screwed over, thankfully Liverpool got screwed over that money twice as bad with a championship drunk, imagine if they spent it on Aguero. Laylabelle 9,539
He just has no luck and its obviously getting to him now..doesnt help he doesnt play and on the bench but even when given the chance...you hardly notice he's there!!Was a daft deal in the first place..we didnt really need him and havent really benifited from having him.He hasnt made a huge impact but for 50m you knew it was going to be the case... Badboy 1,526
That's the difference between Drogba or Torres. If Torres isn't in the game... he'll do fuck all. Drogba will strop and get frustrated, then bully the fuck out of the defenders, drop deep, help out defensively... he plays for the badge and with great heart. With Torres, you get the feeling he regrets leaving Liverpool. He's had the best part of a year and he's playing worse than Kalou or Malouda ever could, but because he's an iconic striker and we spent so much on him, no-one is willing to accept the fact we've been absolutely screwed over. Torres is gone, we'll be lucky if he reaches 8 goals for the season this year. That's the difference between Drogba or Torres. If Torres isn't in the game... he'll do fuck all. He cost twice the price Drogba cost us and they spent 23 million on a 23 year old Suarez lol. He goes through a whole game without even getting involved, when Drogba has a bad game you notice because he actually touches the ball and misses chances.Torres hides like a little coward and he thinks we don't notice. Kieran. 6,317
I remember reading in October that Malaga were lining up a shock 34m pound bid...on a very unreliable site. But how perfect would that be...No more Torres fangirls, no more sulking, no more disappointment, no more "50m pound flop Torres fails to score today," no more Torres. Kojo 4,676
If Torres had chances every game and wasn't scoring, then i would be really mad, but he doesn't get chances, but then again he should at least be doing better. And i don't blame anyone on this forum if they want him out now, because now and again i'm like that.

HIs value IMO is 15 million, but I can see him going for 22 or 23.
termninja 5,290
He is a perfect signing for rich clubs to increase their media presence and have a big name player in their squad. It would be cool if Malaga sent a fat juicy bid.

BlueLion. 21,491
It's just a sad state of affairs the fans have finally lost patience with him. We all wanted him to succeed, but he looks like he can't be arsed - so I can't be arsed with him. At least Shevchenko put in some barn-storming performances... Kojo 4,676
Which leaves us with Malaga We will just do a player exchange, they take Kalou - which benefits us, then we give them Torres for taking Kalou, becaues they deserve it for having the balls to do that. Not really a player exchange but you know where i'm coming from.
CHOULO19 24,332
I don't see torres agreeing to a move to malaga since they are never in the CL. I mean isn't that why he joined us in the first place?
HRiver 1,512
Everybody's losing patience on him and I don't blame anyone. Everyone supported him all the time: the fans, the club, his team-mates. He has definitely dug his own grave and he has nobody but himself to blame. And it sucks that only months after we all went berserk over the transfer, we're now suggesting that he leaves and where the club should sell him. Who would've thought?

Even though it didn't work out I still respect him tremendously for what (little) he did at the club and obviously the player that he once was.I was so optimistic for Torres after the Utd and Swansea goals but it looks like he's back to the same old shit we saw last season. It's just baffling what has happened to himAnd lets face it, the good performances that he's put in for us this season are nothing compared to his best at Liverpool. He was a magical player then, and even his best here so far hasn't even been 30% of what he once was.He can still be a reliable 15-20 goal scorer but he won't reach those magnificent heights that he was at in the 08/09 season
