Randall 315
Just got back from the bridge, FUCKING AWESOME! I thought we played pretty well bit shit in the first half, David Luiz is probably the biggest hero ever. bluephoenix 1,131
Luiz's goal was just amazing something that is expected more out of our strikers.
Badboy 1,526
The whole team played well, i feel a lot more secure when Mikel is in the side and he must start at old trafford. He makes us a lot harder to score against, he shields the back four, he is also passing the ball forward now which is a bonus.

On the passing forward comment, anyone who's kept tabs on him knows how competent he is as a passer of the ball. Its ignorant people that complain about him passing sideways or backwards too much when hes been playing a DM role with basically 2 attacking mids his whole career here. blue out west 27
Sturridge rested on his ass for 3 games, he needs match practice now... he must play afaic. sodasys 40
It was awesome moment when my favorite player has scored his unbelievable goal , I adore you Luiz I hope that AVB give him an attacking role by doing more forward runs like what he did today in his goal , he tried that before in the pre-season with Terry but luiz has more attacking attributes than any other defender in our squad... blue out west 27
  :doh:I bet if I looked back at your posts from last season about Ramires, Malouda and Mikel I'd be proved wrong... but I doubt that.people still tear into Malouda for last season when he was better than everyone except maybe Ashley and Petr. another thing I find REALLY rich is that people have also been saying AVB should play Meireles instead of Mikel in deep mid then he has a good performance today and Meireles has a somewhat poor one and now everyones like OH MIKEL IS BEST 11 MATERIAL!! Seriously, a lot of fellow supporters need to get their heads out of their asses and pay attention more to the GAMES than what the Daily Fail and the rest of the Manc worshipping media writes. It was awesome moment when my favorite player has scored his unbelievable goal , I adore you Luiz I hope that AVB give him an attacking role by doing more forward runs like what he did today in his goal , he tried that before in the pre-season with Terry but luiz has more attacking attributes than any other defender in our squad...Luiz for me is still very much a project and Terry is great at going forward because of his awareness, something Luiz distinctly lacks. AVB probably told him he can go forward a bit after the half because we needed to throw in something different in the attack. Earlier in the game though our defense wasnt that organized without JT or Lamps. Luiz did well to clear crosses in the early part of the game though, he definitely has the physical attributes to defend but needs more experience and training. Kostas 1,468
No matter how many mistakes he makes Luiz is just a wonderful footballer. I found the 2nd half a bit more boring than the first one despite the goals but a drop of pace was expected.I could notice in the second half the link-up between Cole and Mata that BlueHeart mentioned, a few more halfs of football between them and our left hand-side has the potential to be more devastating than in late 09/10.Anelka was excellent and Lamps was more or less solid. If I had to pick one player who didn't perform as good as the others it would be Bosingwa for giving the ball away a few times and never really made me feel safe. robdog 2,084
I read on another board that UEFA mandates empty seats to separate the away fans. BTW, does anyone find it ironic that our defenders are providing the goals for The Blues??? Terry last match, Luiz this match. Bos finding net. Does anyone see a potential problem here??? Kieran. 6,317
I think it's safe to say we have one of the best attacking CBs in the game. All of his goals are important ones, too.

For now he's a risky play.
